Title: Odd Graphics problem
Post by: FT_Animal on September 04, 2006, 08:50:43 PM
Well it's odd to me, kind of a newbie on the new versions.

After about 5 minutes in the air, or in the tower for that point. I start loosing all graphics and a lot of graphic blinking etc.. In the air I loose the whole cockpit except for the gauges. I lose all other graphics one by one. Everything works awsome until then.

Currently on a
PIII 933
512 Ram
GF 4 MX 420 video card

Whelp it seems to be fix for now. I adjusted the performace slider and turned on MipMapping.  SEEMS to have helped.

Nope, no fix. Is this maybe a DX problem?

what video drivers are you running ??

i think the 56.xx ones were the best for the old gf 2/4 cards ...(56.45 ???)

I'll load ah2 back up on my kids pc and  do a quick compare if needed .
its a 1.3 ghz amd, 512 ram ,GF2 mx400  . (I had ah2 on it and working a few versons ago )

Hmmm,.... dernit, I think deleted those drivers. I'm using the 71.84 driver install exe.

u should be using 61.77 version for that card.  My son has the 5700le card on his pIII 1.0 gig.  Works fine.

You may also try turning down the texture size, if you haven't found a solution yet.
