When I play back ah films via the ah filmviewer, there is no sound effect for the engine running in the aircraft that the film was recorded in. If you select the other players in the film, their engine sounds are audible.
Is this a feature or should the engine running sound effects be audible for the aircraft that you film from?
Thanks!

It has been that way for some time. I am not sure if it is supposed to be a feature.

Just checking :). That's how mine has been but in another thread on this bbs folks were talking like they have engine running sound for the aircraft the film is recorded in. Just wanted to make sure that it wasn't an anomaly.

OK from another thread jd007 got this reply from Pyro regarding the non-engine sounds while watching from the AH film viewer.
Pyro wrote:
Hi Jim,
...If you're just talking about engine sounds not working in the AH film viewer, they most definitely should. I've watched several films today and they all had the engine sound. Are you using custom sounds or default sounds?
Here's the thread in the films & screenshots forum where this is discussed:

So all this time the engine sounds from the recorded aircraft should be on. Can someone from HTC weigh in on this (Pyro, Skuzzy?). I'm using custom sounds (Waffle's sound pack) and not the default sounds.

Been that way for a long time now. If I record a film, I get no engine sound from my plane (guns and vox recordings work fine). I hear the engines of OTHER planes in the film, doppler effect and all, but never hear my own engine.
I take that back. I can hear my engine if I start it or stop it. During the time it runs though, I hear nothing.

Good question :) Thanks,
