Guys as soon as I figure the new events site out I have the sides here it is to be 60 axis and 40 allied I got it pretty close. As soon as I get the frame CIC's selected I will post them and send orders out on Friday night. Remember Frame CIC must get there orders out by Wednesday.

umm KO we lowered our #'s to 11-15 we been bringing about 15-17, but watch every time I do this 30 show up.
-
Hey, KO, I was hoping Clowns of Death would make it into this FSO, registration is all set and all. I don't suppose this is just a 'preliminary list' pending finalization?
-
880 sqn. upped our numbers to 7-10 for this one. I'll double check the ahevents.org site, but I'm pretty sure it set. :aok
-
lol... Rogues didn't even sign up yet for this, yet there we are. :)
That's fine... we're happy there, just needed a few days to make a few decisions.
-
KO -- have you visited this page and looked at the update date and preferences?
http://ahevents.org/site/component/option,com_staticxt/Itemid,152/
PS: this is a CM only page so the rest of you don't complain when you get an unauthorized.
-
We'll get you in there Clowns.
-
Put them in Allied. My two cents.
I think we (Allied) are going to be hurting in numbers. You have some strong Axis squads that have a good turn out normally. Difference of 30 to 40 pilots is a lot.
-
We're in, and more than happy to take Allied. Thanks all, see ya next friday!
-
Who are the frame C.O.'s? Just wondering.
-
See current side assignments at events.org
-
ok, what chart are we going by? Chart posted here shows AK's allied. AHevents page show us Axis.
-
We should be listed as Allies on the AHEvents
site but we are listed on the roster as axis.
This is confusing as when we updated the
squad information allies is selected.
Anyway, we should be ALLIES for this
FSO. We need a break from flying axis. ;)

Argh...
How can we be axis and be flying F4U-1D's?
We should be listed as ALLIED.
ForHIM, what database populates that table?
The update page shows us as the proper side
but this table doesn't. Something isn't
referencing properly.

Delta, I believe that you are indeed Axis this time around. The planes you see there are what you may have input for 'preferences' initially when you updated for this FSO.
The Frame CO's will pick your ride and tell you what you are in. I would edit your 'preferences' to show your favorite IJN planes.

I'm a bit confused...
skernsk, when I updated for this FSO we registered
as Allied. Thats what my squad members requested.
We flew axis the last 2 FSOs and my guys are in need
of a change. We are understandably weary of being
allied target drones. ;)
So to clarify, let me know if we are expected to
be allied or axis this time around so I can let my
guys know.
These last 2 FSO's as axis has really put a damper
on our squad involvement levels so I need to let
them know whats happening. Surprising them
at the last minute with an axis assignment when
they are expecting allied will surely drive our
numbers even lower.
BTW, The Arabian Knights, 325th and Fate are
all listed as axis despite selecting allied aircraft.
They may be similarly confused as I am.
Anyway, let me know,

Delta...the side requests we make as squads is just that: a request. No guarantees that any squad will get to fly thier choice. But its generally understood that the CM's take the past and your preferences into consideration.
If you requested allied for the last 3 months and had to fly axis, then yeah, maybe you got a reason to be a bit upset ;). If you requested axis for 2 months and got to fly axis as requested, then you have no room to complain. But next month your squad would probably be given leverage toward whatever side you request. Just saying that we have all been there and you shouldn't let it dampen your enthusiasm for FSO.
-
Understood.
Heck, I'll fly a kite. It really doesn't matter to me personally.
My only concern stems from the grumbling of some
my troops and on retaining interest in FSO among them.
Finally, with respect to the last FSO we had hoped for allies
then and got stuck with axis. We didn't gripe about that
and we flew as directed. We were collectively looking
for a change this time....especially since we flew as axis
during the last Guadalcanal campaign "Fire in the Sky'.
But it doesn't matter to me. I'll fly by myself if I have to.
I guess thats all there is to say on this subject guys. I just
wanted to make sure our position was understood in case
we don't produce the numbers projected and leave the
axis hopelessly outnumbered again.
I'll see you Friday night as axis.

I am busy constructing the next FSO. It will be in the Pacific again but will focus on the year 1942 and select a battle from 3 different theaters:
[list=1]
- Invasion of Burma - Brits & Flying Tigers vs IJN / IJAAF
- Invasion of Mindano - USAAF vs IJN
- Invasion of the Aleutian Islands - USAAF vs IJN
Will make a note to put you guys down as allies for it.
