Of course it would. A sound is a sound even if there's no-one to hear it.

Well, I say HT has a 'virus' in the MA that lasts a week, and DA, and the SEA, so all thats left is the AvA!!!

I think possibly everyone gravitated to the MA because of the Fightertown debacle.

Perhaps they'll stop in when that map switches and they're back to their horde wars.

I think you wise staffers may want to limit the time for the RPS to two weeks on the unpopular planesets.  you may want to increase the time for the popular ones.  it seems not too many people like the japanese planes except for the N1K2 and the Ki84.

If you do not hear the sound, how do you know it was created? Is a sound created if it isn't heard? Doesn’t the realization of a sound require the fact that it was heard as confirmation of its actual existence?

But isn't sound just frequency vibrations in air, so does a sound need to be heard to be a sound?

It's a play on an old philosophical question, designed to make people think: "If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a noise?" -- the answer is of course it does. It's still creating sound waves even if nobodys ears are around to receive them.

But it's still an oft-quoted line.

If a man speaks and no woman is around to hear him, is he still wrong?

If a fart doesn't make a sound does it still smell bad?

OK, Mr. Smartypants, here is a question put to me once in college ---

If a tree falls on a bear poo - ping in the woods while a '93 Camaro traveling the speed of light drives by at midnight, will the tapedeck still have decent resale value?

Makes ya think, don't it?:D
