Title: Sketch's sound pack
Post by: B@tfinkV on September 08, 2006, 01:39:33 PM
sketch, i wondered if you would link your sound pack again?

and for others, who might feel like a new sound pack or even just trying something new, i would really recomend it.

features, that always make me piss myself laughing, include:

1: darth vader breathing as check 6

2: SBDs has a boeing 747 engine noise :lol

3:  ......oh....i wont ruin any more for you.....check it out.

bit of promotion here, but it is a very fine sound pack, i especially love the gun sounds.

Sketch's are the best.  As a former squaddie of his, these are top notch sounds.

hmm only AMJOR problem i found so far is when using the self extractor .....its all in german!!! :furious :furious

i got around this by using winzip and doing it all the old fashioned way.
would make alot of lives easier is somebody could pass the word that a english self extracor would be nice.
unless i totally missed something ....wich is improbable but, could be possible....maybe...unlikely. ...but, not entirely unheard of....extremely rare tho:confused:

It's pretty simple to guess, it's the same interface as the old winzip, so the buttons are all in the same place.

I downlaoded it lastnight. Extracting was a little tricky with the German, but nothing too complex.

It sounds great, the guns a fantastic and the Stuka engine sound is brilliant.

That check six sound killed me though!

Hahah

I had someone on my six, someone called it and I was expecting the normal "check 6" but i heard Darth Vader...and thought "what the ****!?" so i stopped my my turn for just a second in confusion.... then...daka daka daka boom.

haha.

The sounds are definately top shelf though.

Note to all:  If you like the '6-call' or don't like it, it is changable and there are a few others in there.  That is the main one I use and my 3-year old son comes running when he hears it. "You watching Star Wars Daddy?" :rofl
For changing it, you just rename the one your using to 'check_6_darth' and rename the other one to the check_6.... pretty simple. :aok

The reload sounds in the panzer are cool. Would be nice to have something in russian for the T34.
