Title: F1 @ Monza
Post by: Nilsen on September 09, 2006, 12:46:47 PM
Lets guess how many laps Kimi can keep his car running.

Im betting he never finishes and will break his ride within 10 laps from the finish line.

:D

F1 is more rigged than wrestling.
I heard Hulk Hogan will drive for Ferrari next season.

Nilsen, you are prolly correct. When I watched last season I was just thinking the same you are now. If Kimis car goes fast, it wont last. If it lasts it does not go fast enough..

Lets hope he will be piloting Ferrari next season.

Is it sure that he will go to Ferrari next year? I thought Renault was still an option for him.

Ahh ok thx.

Hope he chooses Renault tho. That way I can hope he wins stuff.

Never really been a fan of any particular driver (except Eddie Irvine), but ive always stuck with rooting for a couple of teams thru ups and downs.

Ferrari is and has always been my least favorite team :D

Nah, Renault already has the next Finnish World Champion on the team for next year - Heikki Kovalainen (spell that, you Italians with names as silly as di Montezimultotoas). :)

I've never been a fan of Ferrari team, either.

Great race and big news. A day to remember.

Which one will be the 2007 champion?
Kimi with Ferrari or Heikki with Renault? ;)

I've always had similar principles, but... I suppose I gotta try to convert for the next few seasons :o

Q: (Juha Paatalo – Financial Times Deutschland) Kimi, can you describe the reasons why you chose Ferrari as your future team?

KR: There are many reasons. I have had five years at McLaren and they are a great team and nice people to work with, but in the end I wanted something else and there were only two choices – to stay with McLaren or to go to Ferrari and for me personally I wanted to go there one day and this was the best moment and I think it is a great team to join and there will be people I will miss in McLaren, but that's how it goes. Sometimes you want something in your life.

Q: (Marco Evangilisti - Corrriere dello Sport) Kimi, are you somehow concerned at taking the place of the most winning driver of all time?

KR: Not really. It's a nice place to go and of course the team will expect a lot but in the end I also expect a lot from myself and I want to win and this is different again to McLaren where there was Mika world champion twice and wasn't easy then and it will not be easy this time and I will go there and do my best and hopefully it will be enough for everybody.
