Title: Sound card died
Post by: ViZeen on September 10, 2006, 10:12:21 PM
I figured out my sound card is somehow preventing windows to boot up. I will load and get to the password box..enter that and nothing happens(unless in safemode) . I jerk the card move the spker jacks to the on board jacks and windows loads up normal just no sound. I guess on board sound is disabled but I have no clue how to get it working. I have MSI kt3 6380e I went to MSI web page but didnt see anything on there to help me.

to turn your on board sound on in the bios hold the delete key down when the computer is starting up.  but since  you have the sound card out why not just go to their web site and get the latest driver.
