Whenever I go to make an account within the game, after I have filled out all the info required the game freezes. I've tried everything that I can think of my firewall accepts it and lets it through and I have a good internet connection.

If you can get to our WEB site (I know it is probably obvious you can or you would not be able to post), but the game is not able to send the information to create the account, then something is blocking the games access to the Internet.
This must be resolved or you will not be able to login and play the game. If you have a router, there is a high probability it is blocking the game's access. In which case, you need to allow access through the router for ports 2000-5000 for both UDP and TCP, as Aces High II uses a random subset of ports in that range.

thanks I should be able to fix this problem

I`m having the same issues. I tried the port settings set for dynamic as well as host, but still get "can not connect to host". This is with a DSL connection on a Westell 6100 router. Any ideas? TIA

Possabliy a firewall problem?:noid

I have XP`s firewall turned off ,as best as I can tell, and I have norton `02 disabled when I try to log on. If theres a bellsouth firewall tied to my router, I cant locate it. If anybody can point a computer idiot to it, (if its even there), I`d really be thankfull!

This is the same modem I use, I wonder if there is something else at work in your system. Possibly a virus or adware??. Might be time to go to your DSL provider site and do a scan from there. :noid

could the fact that this comp. is running service pack 1 be the problem?

That is a possiblity, one way to be sure is to update windows. The update site will show what updates need to be installed. Microsoft has a CD SP-2 that they will send you or you can down load/run from their site.:noid
