Title: HO icon....
Post by: cav58d on September 17, 2006, 09:57:11 PM
Lets make it so the computer can read if you make a head on pass, and if you HO, you get something next to your icon, and if you actually merge, you get something next to your icon to indicate that...stupid of me to think so highly of the main arena's and actually try for a real merge...maybe this will help

Where do you draw the line between HO and not a HO?

Problem is that there are times when you find yourself face to face after both of the participants have been manuevering for a shot and you are commited to the HO.

How does the computer distinquish that HO form the, full bore in and no thought of ACM HO?

Once again, a HO takes two pilots two happen.  If you do not want to enter into a HO, than DIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, or turn.  Climbing is a bad idea.

Keeping your guns pointed at the enemy is a sound ACM practice, if the enemy is coming towards you, fire a bust and break off. and manuever to get on his six.

We do not need any special HO rules, icons, messages, etc.
