A friend flies for a wealthy fellow. He calls me and say :
"Hey! You like 60s cars, you should check out my boss hangar."
... Opening the door, my breathing must have stoped for a couple of seconds. I was just expecting to find the usual 1 or 2 car combo... definitly not 2 of the 6 daytona! :O or an Alfa.
Have to share this rare moment with other car lovers :)

Now I know the owner. Yes, he can afford them and he takes them out and races. Good stuff.

That's about $50M worth of cars there. Holy geezus.
-
Better not post the address of the hangar. ;)
Wow, what a beautiful collection. I fell in love with Italian sports cars as a teenager, but the ones I could afford never had the Rampant Stallion on them unfortunately. If your friends boss would like to donate one of his spares however...

OH. MY. GOD.

CSX 3017 is a 427 Cobra.
Why this pic? One thing I know alot about is Shelby's. Here goes:
CSX3017 is 1 of only 19 Full Competition Cobras ever built (EASILY $1.5 million) and is the Cobra in the front. Also in this pic is one of the Daytona's.
Also, I read somewhere awhile back that these were owned by Grand Touring Cars, Inc? Which is co-owend by Harley E. Cluxton III. It has been said that this collection (which I believe these photos posted to be) is worth in excess of $200 million. The Ferrari's in the pics alone account for well over $40 million (not counting the one's on the racks covered).
You are very fortunate to lay eyes on this collection, much less, take pictures.

Hell yes they do. The guy who drives them wins vintage events regularly. Seen him at Laguna Seca many times.

Lister Corvette methinks

I think your right, Funked. looks like the Rochester mech. injection unit on top, some doubt as to if the rest of that s.b.c. is original though, Regular racing had to kill the original bullet long ago....

lol here is the "CAPTION THIS" for these pix.....
"SEE even rich people put there toy cars on shelves too!"
