Title: .50cal sound
Post by: VooWho on September 18, 2006, 04:57:56 PM
I've been trying to find a realistic, loud, and awsome .50cal sound, and was woundering if there was a sound pack that had one?

Here's mine. Had to custom tweak the levels of another sound.

Here you go bro to make it really easy for you:

Sketchwork's Sound Pak (http://www.slowcat.de/)

Rangers' Sound Pak (http://www.bops.us/bops/bin/site/ftp/bops/sounds.zip)

Our two paks are two of the best out there and both sound great!

Bah, I like my sound best. Somebody sent it to me via e-mail, but it was too loud so I lowered the levels a hair and re-saved it.

It's great when fired with 6x or 8x 50cal guns. It also has 1 firing sound, so you only hear one "bang" per bullet, instead of 5-10 "bangs" for 1 round :)

My problem with that is it really ends up sounding like washing machine water churning. The "pops" are too indistinct.

BTW: Mine only fires as long as the trigger is depressed, so it does single pops if you let it, too. :P
