Just thought some of ya might like this.

OK, now how many of ya are going to admit having owned most or all of them???
I'll be first. I had several of the flight sims and for a while enjoyed Yeager's, not so much for the "realism" but just because it was fun to screw with it.

I didn't ever get the space shuttle sim nor the elite plus series... the rest though :D

So, how does one go about getting AOE to run under Win98? Inquiring minds want to know ;)
-
They seem to work fine. *ShruG* Kinda fun to go back and play these old games. I didn't fully realize how far we'd actually come in graphics til now. :D

But back then I was wearing out Wing Commander :D

Hehe :)
Let me introduce Michael Shulgin, current moderator of fido7.ru.game.flight, the first Russian flightsim newsgroup. I read it since 1993, and still remember all that sims. AOTP and AOE were my favourites before I discovered WB. We exchanged tracks in that echo, my personal record was 12 allies including 4 aces on a scramble mission in a 109G/5 barrels. Another guy submitted a track with 10 (!!!!) B-17s killed on a 190/8x20mm.
Michael also designs beautiful models for MSFS, like BI-1, and his last work is a MiG-15 with original panel etc. MSFS/CFS fans, check this:
