It really sucks when you can't up a mid war plane in the MID WAR ARENA.

Switch sides, problem solved. Don't some of you read other post? This has been posted about 100 times this month alone. I am not a big fan of ENY, I just deal with it. It's part of the game, suck it up, change sides, log off, or quit the game. You choice to make it what you will.

Switching sides is wrong. Have some backbone. Pick a team and stick with it. Even if it is a losing team.

LOL! Chesspiece loyalty in a game that has the flexibility to change sides at will and all sides have access to all planes and vehicles when *balanced* has never made sense ... to the sensible. :D

Balance can either be established by the machine (ENY) or by the players.  Pick one.

It used to be that side switchers were the scum of the earth because they switched to the winning team just before a reset. Now for some unknown reason they are heros of the came. :huh

Actually ... it used to be that players switched sides for all sorts of reasons. One of them having been to balance the board. As far as "heros" and "scum of the earth" goes ... I'm still seeing a "real life" vs. "it's just a game" confusion in mentality. Get a grip. ;)

Instead of ENY limiting the plane set, what if it made planes more expensive in perks?

So:

Current ENY 0 : Plane A ENY 10 Perks 0
Current ENY 30: Plane A ENY 10 Perks 15

so perk points would be a function of current ENY * perk factor + perk base

I think this would be accepted by most.

LOL dood, you dont get it, we want them to switch to the side that is "losing" NOT the side that is winning. Aside from faux "loyalty" to an imaginary chess peice, what is wrong with that?

1. you get rid of ENY by switching to the low team, not the high team

2. You cannot get perks for switching before a reset. You have to have been a member of the winning team for 6 hours before the victory, and you have to be online when the reset happens. Tell your friends....I cant think of how many times I've seen this myth pop up.

3. games are more fun for both sides when sides are even. Really. That's why you dont see Black Belt karate guys do demonstrations on volunteers from the audience.

Theres a fight and i notice the other guys getting outnumbered?

Asked the Squad i flew with if they were ok with me switching over. Got a "hey, np 2 vs 2 a lot more fun then 3 vs 1... go ahead" as an answer.....

Sincerely,

I think an unstable ENY disheartening.............

I was watching MW Bish ENY swing form 9 to 29 and back last night over a few minutes...........

as player numbers  get lower and more volatile (% wise) then maybe the ENY movement should be more damped.........

Yup its all in fun,, Ok if you believe that then, if not every one is having fun, then is it that its suppose to be fun for just you, or a couple? Or is it supposed to be fun for most or all? Ok, not all, because you cant pleas all the,, well you know the saying. And then you must also remember smart guy, Lets say that every one having a problem with it does "just leave the game". Well that’s a lot of revenue gon "POOF" and as I remember BOB went "POOF" for just that reason, as have lots of games befor. No it’s best to look at it a bit more from the middle ground.
ENY is causing problems on most nights to one side or a nether, So dial it down, perhaps make it so perk stuff is not effected but the coast still is higher. "We earned um we should be allowed to spend um". It’s easy to just give quick excuses, or to rant and rave, or even to make fun, or criticize. But not easy to come up with a real solution.
We all pay the same $ and thus are all entitled to get the same enjoyment out of it. Figure it out and stop bickering. We all know that new versions have bugs, and yes I do agree HTC should be faster in fixing them or better at debugging before it gets to the paying customer, and in a perfect world It would but this ant, so as was sed "suck it up" and use your head for something other then a hat rack or to hold your ear phones, and help get a solution rather then make it worse by ticking people off more.
This is just my humble opinion. I am sure others have thought of it before but just don’t post, as the majority seem to like to stay silent. I suppose to avoid being made fun of, or harassed. Wonder why?

CaptCole,

[rant on] You have to relearn to have fun. The way you had fun before was wrong. Please, do yourself a favor and understand it. [rant off]

As I sed, ranting did not fix it and wont, so since that still does not fix the issue people are having a solution is still needed. Rather then gripe or egg on the continued gripe give solutions, and since its obvious the majority in the rooms think it a problem JUST FIX IT. Slumlord mentality will just rune the game. I know CPT that perhaps you don’t have any issues at all (drug level compensates well for it hu?) *grins* kidding. Units and single players are having problems with it all the time, it is an issue for the majority, and saying tuff does not fix it, that just continues to tick them off till they go to other games and take there $ with them. That is a CO, Killer, and if you like the game don’t kill it by neglecting its needs. It need $ to grow and continue and we are its $.

As I have the game up now, Rooks are resetting Bish. Rooks=49, Knits=28, Bish=16, in the EWA. At this time, no action has been taken to balance numbers. HTC, your plan appears to have flaws.

thndr, i dont think anyone (rational) has said that the bish/bops are the source of all evil.

The point you make is vald: all sides should have a fair chance at having fun. It isnt fun when you're down by 3:1; and none of us should let those odds stay for long. We should switch to keep it fun for all.

I've played for Nits and Bish this month; dont think I've been on when Rooks were low. Last night (?) there were traditionally rook squadrons and traditionally nit squads playing for bish, because without those groups the numbers were too far off.

Didnt even have to think about it, myself. Simple application of the golden rule -- treat other people the way you'd want to be treated.

LOL look at this KTM guy's sig...

"9/13....... never forget"

LOL, the moral equivalency of a computer game shakeup to the September 11th terrorist attacks has to be the craziest thing I've seen here yet.

Get a life, sheesh.  Aces High is a GAME.

1) Your right here girl... 2v2 is fun, 3v1 sucks poo poo... It is bad when you have a horde... yes I said a horde of 3 guys all in 109/190's while you can up a Spit 1 or Hurri 1 (no offense Schatzi) because the ENY is so high.  Okay, so I switch sides and have to stay there for an hour until I can switch back.  Waste of time... Drop the ENY down some and keep the good fights going.
2) The reason you and I get so many perks Schatzi is because you fly your Hurri 1 while I fly the F4U-1 !! Perk Heaven!! :aok
3) To All: Stop flying in so high to the base... takes to long to fly up there. Go to 10K and let's fight! :D

I switched sides a couple of times over the last few days. Most weren;t bad, (although I did get a 'Hey,didn't I just shoot you down' from one of my new country mates.)
But switching isn't always the answer, particularly when numbers are real low. Did it once to be on the outnumbered team, within a half hour people had logged and my new team was on top.

I also worry about the future of a game where the main strategy to encourage someone's idea of fair gamelpay seems to be to make players as frustrated as possible.

Sure, the guys who find AH to be like crack will stick around, but I know lots of guys who only fly maybe once a week during squad nights. Piss them off enough and they'll decide it's not worth it and leave. While the powers that be don't seem to care all that much about who leaves, I'd personally be sad to see some of these guys go.

I think this game needs to add a few more carrots and a lot fewer sticks.
