Ya hafta understand something bout peeps that live in Oxford.

They are

a)   A local and totally not associated with a college and prolly go out on saturdays looking for students to beat up.

b)   A student away from mummy for the first time and very young, impressionable and scared of getting beaten up.....again.

or

c)   An ex student who decided the big wide world is far too scary (after getting beaten up every time they've set foot outside the college grounds) and decided to get a low paid (read, very low) job at a college.


I'da loved to have seen this.  I'da been right behind Chelsea with a few choice comments of my own.

P.S.  It's true, they really do parade through the city wearing black gowns and mortar board.......prats.

Not so strange really.  Her father didn't object to the Vietnam war that much.  He just objected to being one of the people fighting it.

Bah, when I first moved abroad, I felt pretty much the same way. Seeking out other Danish people, increase in national pride, etc. She's been here, what, a week?.
 I'd start worrying the moment students *didnt* criticize everything  :).
