Permit me to pause for a moment the endless banter, pro & con, with respect to the arena reconfiguration.
In all seriousness, I'd like to acknowledge a member of the Aces High community.
This person is usually the first, or one of the first to reply to a new, and sometimes long standing AH subscriber who post questions in the Help & Training forum.
This person is a worthy opponant who always offers a no matter what the outcome is.
This person, prior to being an "official" trainer, used to and still does now as an member of the Aces High Training Corps, spend numerous hours in various arenas helping noobs get their' planes off the runways, configuring their' joysticks, working throught the VOX issues and all the other issues we all confronted the first couple of days we played Aces High.
This person never gripes, always professes a positive outlook and in my book, is a always a CLASS ACT.
This person is Schatzi.
Can I get an AMEN for Schatzi as the AH Citizen of The Year?
-
Amen, and recognition LONG since overdue.
Take a bow Schatzi!
-
I saw schatzi drink a bottle of cyanide one time, the cyanide vomitted violently then died!:D

Schatzi as the AH Citizen of The Year? I knew who u were thinking of for citizen of the year as soon as u mentioned the idea MAX. Thats a no brainer who gets my vote. It's like we are all little kids and she takes care of us is the way I see it. :D
-
Schatzi is a gem....
My regards,
Widewing
-
Schatzi who?
Just kidding:)
Schatzi is A+
-
I'd consider Max or Silat for this as well, both being class acts, but this is the Citizen of the Year award. I'll start one for Senoir Citizen of the Year award.
:p
-
Schatzi has my vote as well.
-
AMEN to that, bro, I fondly support your candidate for AH person of the year! Now, Filth, take a picture of her and put it on the cover of next year's first issue of Special Event Newsletter! ;)

Schatzi ,,, good choice for most helpfull.
Silat ,,, Runs a joystick for the needy program , is always willing to call to help.
Widewing ,,, the encyclopidia on legs .
An honorable mention needs to go to Dux and the terrain team , they help run the underground side of AH ,they put in lots of hours that the rest of you dont see.
Then we have Skuzzy , For tripping over cords , putting up with the whole gang, and general mischief .... :D

We try not to discuss such things in a public setting. :)

amen.

The term "no brainer" was coined for just this nomination. Schatzi is one of the most fun, friendly, and honorable people on either side of an engagement.
About being helpful in learning to fly? Well, I guess so, except that in my case, all the lessons ended up with me looking up at her from the ground as I gathered up my chute for the long walk home.
Salute Schatzi!!!
-
Definately!
-
I dont know what to say.....
.... so ill just blush a deep scarlet, do as Ghosth said and bow and say thank you. :)

And the list goes on and on.... there are many many good people in this community, that are just as helpful and contributing. Mapmaking, CM hosting, helping others, skinning..... Most things go unnoticed. A huge >>S<< and thank you for.

Schatzi and myself had a few fun dogfights in EWA last week, we ended up fairly even with kills to each of us but after each fight win or lose there was always a
I must say this was probably the first time I have had the honor to meet Schatzi but it turned into a fun 30 minutes or so and it would be a privelege to do this again sometime with such a class act.

Schatzi is a sneaky one... When we were in Berlin, she managed to get behind us (4 of us Finns and Schutt) and pay for our beers while we weren't looking. :)
Schatzi!

So Schatzi...........if you are buying the beer, what weekend would be best for me to visit? :)
Keep up the good work. People like you are the backbone of the game and in some instances is what makes or breaks it for those trying to break into the gameplay.
Your patience and constant help remind me of Flossy. That is the highest compliment I can think of.

Oh yeah... i remember that first night online...... Schutt had just convinced me i needed my own account. I could barely take off without damaging my plane. Did participate in a 71 Sqn fighter sweep, not even knowing i was sitting in a FM2, trying desperatly to keep up with the Spitfires..... good memories. A lot has happened since....
<> 71 Sqn for helping me get my AH wings :).
And a huge <> and thank you to the community who makes this so much fun for me!
