Title: deportation
Post by: FrodeMk3 on September 21, 2006, 02:34:24 AM
Hitech, would it be possible for you to put a function in the game, If in the event of gross misconduct of a player on the same country(For example, The Bishops, I am one), said player could be forcibly moved to another country, to give him a chance to remedy his attitude? I've seen some absolutely horrid crap said to people who would normally stay quiet by a particular someone, still on their 2-week account, and somehow .squelch just isn't fitting. Insulting, obnoxious behaviour that can't be remedied through peer pressure...Many people have tried to calmly explain, only to get insulted, and impatient with this young man. If you may, Since no-one Bish like to fly with him, maybe we could have him, say, 'deported?'

Take a screenshot or film it, then send it in to Skuzzy. They take care of it.

Each and every player has the  ability to report abusive/vulgar text or vox. Bring up the offender on your roster and right click on the name. Below you'll see options for report text; report voice.

Screen shot/ film and emailing it in is the best way to get results.

Vox reporting just puts a flag up- there's no way for HTC to know anything other than someone used the report feature, and I'm not even sure if they still manually look through the reports. I think the reporting system just mutes the player after enough reports are sent.
