I once did a shot of extra sharp ginger brandy and tabasco, and that sounds downright tasty and normal compared to that.

If you have a hang-over, its too late to cure it with anything except pain relievers.
To prevent a hang-over: When you stop drinking alcohol for the night, start drinking water, or better yet, sports drinks. Eat two to four raw eggs also. Stay awake for about 3 hours, drinking water or sports drinks when you get thirsty. When you wake up, take 2 to 4 aspirin.
Sports drinks replinish both the water and electrolytes you lose from drinking and peeing.
Eggs supply acetylcholine which is usually the limiting factor in metabolizing alcohol in your liver.
