I must type this in caps to express the seriousness of this problem.....
HT MUST HAVE RIPPED A HOLE IN THE SPACE TIME CONTINUIUM!!!! OR ALIENS HAVE TAKEN OVER THE PLAYERS WITH MIND CONTROLL DEVICES..... OR I'VE BEEN TRANSPORTED TO FLIPIN MUNCHKIN LAND!!!!!!!
I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS, THE ARENAS ARE ALL SCREWED OVER. I'VE BEEN GETTING s FROM GUYS ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!! I EVEN GOT ONE LAST NIGHT AFTER I BOMBED THIS GUYS TANK WITH MY ZEKE:eek:
SOMEONE HELP ME.... I THINK MY BRAIN IS GOING TO EXPLODE IF PEOPLE KEEP ACTING, (DARE I SAY IT) NICE AND RESPECTFULL ON CHAN 200.....
AND I MUST ADMIT I ALSO HAVE BEEN HAVING TREASONESS CONVERSATIONS WITH THE NME AND COMPLIMENTING THEM ON A GOOD MANUVER OR FIGHT.....
I SHALL FOREVER LIVE IN SHAME FOR MY CONDUCT....
On a more serious note to the guys that are acting in such ways you make this game much more enjoyable for the entire community thanx. :aok

On a final note: I think it is much more tame than days of old. But then again...the arena only had bout 100 players in it on both ocassions.
I strongly suspect when it reaches capacity it will be worse or different, which ever point of view you might have.
One could argue this is the very reason for the lower caps.
But if anyone thinks that this is the solution to arena health?? Think again.
The only solution is to start kicking and banning even the mildest of offenders. There is NO middle ground. Our own experiences from several SIMs ove 10+ years should teach us that.
I think i know the reason HTC's created the tools they have over the years to try and "Govern" the community's behavior. $$$
Why not try to implement "Self Governing" tools? Makes sense to me.
I also know they have used moderators. To what extent im not sure.

I think it goes without saying that most businesses operate with the goal of being profitable. :rolleyes:
On topic, yeah, there's a lil more love in the air these days. Still a few idiots spewing the same garbage that was becoming all too common on 200 in the old MA, but I see a lot of s and people chatting with their foes. I've even seen someone offer quarter to an enema plane. That's getting a little carried away IMO, but that's tolerable. ;)

Funny what happens in a smaller setting... the guy on the other side becomes more recognizable, and no longer is one of the faceless mass of "evil" bish, rook or knight horde... becomes a real person you interact and compete with. Makes for some great fun and getting to know others better.
Wtg HTC... AND the players who seem to be getting it now.

I find it funny as well as anyone else and I had to laugh in spite of it all.
But i also cant be riled about it since I realize the fact that HT wasn't specifically trying to *Own* me (Yall really need to learn how to spell), Moreover i think he was using his reply to me as a catalyst to convey the message the more $$$ = more fun.
In short. I'm not embarrassed nor insulted byo HTs comment, in light of it's inspiration. :aok

Mugzee, I'm not sure you understood what HiTech wrote. More fun for us = more $$ for HiTech, because the better the game plays and the more fun it is, the more poeple will subscribe and the player base will increase, making HTC more $$. That's why all these conspiracy theories are rediculous.
If we aren't happy, HTC doesn't make any money. It's in their interest to keep us so. However, when things run amok as they had, strong handed changes from the top are needed, which should make for a better product in the end... more fun for us, more $$ for Dale and co... a win-win situation.
