This for the EWA.

 MIG-3 for those that don't recognise it...  Over 3000 of the things were made up to the spring of 1942...

 Book says top speed of 398 mph.  Armament of One 12.7 and two 7.62 machine guns and a bomb or rocket load of 441lb.

 Would be a fun ride...  Or at least give us a YAK-1 :D

At 398 mph ... would this not become the La-7 of the EWA ?

The armament says "no".

I'd rather see the I-16-24 though.

it was a high alt interceptor, doubt that its performance figures low down would be anything special.

probably be similar to an EW P-47N

Mig-3 were ment for high alt fighting when it came out, but all the germans on the eastern front where like 10k and below, which made the mig-3 less manuvarble, and slower.
