Seems like about time to start up a new 'holy cow' video thread for vids that might not be worth a whole thread themselves.
For example, the Sea Stallion has some pretty strong materials:

Oh, and this 'wtf?' dance move with which I'm unfamiliar:

http://video.google.nl/videoplay?docid=-5489018464221065117&q=accident
That gave me a big WTF.

WTF?!? If its late at night, I suggest you watch that with sound OFF. I had it on and I jumped six feet in the air for some inexplicable reason. Um, what happened? What caused the accident? Did they hit something? It looks like they just... rolled over?

This looks like Blair Witch Project wantabe, all though done well. Listen right near the end when "Teresa" says - "Thats where I had the accident....and Died!" then David pans the camera back to Teresa in the back seat and her face is all bloody and cut up and screams and then the car rolls over.

Yes, but why did the car roll? I couldnt figure that part out...

If it's part of the script, uh... well, then it didn't roll.
If it was a real haunting by piraaaaate ghooooosts, then presumably the hitchhiker ghost lady made it happen.

In my torts class, we just learned about the statute that allows people like Brandy to retalliate, with extreme effectiveness, against government officials/agents/officers that abuse their power. She may not have known it, but her actions in provoking him were almost perfect.

No, (jeezus, Chairboy, quit the super-sensitive campaign, I'm with you on this one) it was with the profanity. Perfectly legal means of escalating the situation--when another may have withdrawn and asked for forgiveness, good ole Brandy gave him the business. It was provocation, but not such that would stand in court.
In my humble opinion, there's nothing more reprehensible than somebody with power abusing that power. This man did. His department ie, the taxpayers, compensated thoroughly.

Back home we call that the "(very derogative racial slur) lottery."

Ok, this would have to be the one ghost in history that is seen on camera for starters.
Throw the camera, on the back seat. Have water dripping. The camera "had the car rolled" would have been in pieces. Not sitting there tilted on it's side. If you really think this is ACTUAL FOOTAGE, wow, nevermind you do.

An Officer CANNOT cuff you for cussing. Bottom line, he shouldn't be wearing a badge, nor carrying a gun. For every "one Tarmac", there are 10 of these salamanders.

Actually, no, I dont think the camera would have broken. Things like that are very durable. I have dropped my video camera on conrete, and it still worked perfectly fine. I think the lens might have cracked, but it would still work. No evidence or information to back this up, just a guess.

Regardless of "camera issues", you are not getting a "ghost on camera".

Some googling came up with this little "unknown FACT".
"One friend even says she knows one of the boys in the video: he's a cinema and TV student and that video was a work they had to do for school."
Whoopsie.

Rofl even if someone would be dumb enough to believe the story, the digital image editing apparent before the crash + obviously improvised acting during the cardrive give it away.

It's something like public indecency. Repeated words can land you a fine or trip to the precinct, however, i'm not sure the case in the video since I haven't seen it.

Only way for this to happen, is to have a complainant instruct the officer. Bottom line, Dayton, OH should be embarrassed to have a piece of s**t like him, representing their city.

I was kidding, Karaya. I thought it was pretty much impossible to take it as anything but a joke. Next time, I'll add a smiley. :)
You too Ripley.

Fakeness doesn't detract from scariness. I think it intensifies the fear if you know something is going to happen.

It was effective, I'll give it that, especially after I fast-forwarded through about 80% of it, not knowing what to expect. I think that most people who watch the whole thing start to anticipate something really messed up to ultimately happen.

Heh I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic or not. But if I learned something from posting to several UBB's is that you can never overestimate people behind stupid looking remarks!
Sometimes I get pleasant surprises though.
That's why it sucks to be an optimist - you can never be pleasantly surprised. :D

I, too, fast forwarded to near the end. And of course, it was 2am when I watched it and had my headset on. I kept looking around the windsheild trying to find where this ghost might be then....aiiiie, jumped the watermelon outta me.
I've given the link to a bunch of jittery female friends to watch but told them they had the crank the volume up near the end. Ive now been happily cursed by most of them :lol

I can't believe that guy didn't get suspended, or fired. There's no debtors jail in the USA, that was a civil matter. Cops have no special 'right' to get correct change.
BTW she was 100% allowed to cuss, yell and insult him.. on duty police cant legally be offended.

There's a bunch of blather in the title about it being politically incorrect, but I think it's hilarious. The changes in language between when it was made and now have not been in its favor, but it's a pretty funny window into TV commercials of the 60s.
