HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!!!!
Your sacrifices are appreciated
Sitting here looking at my grandfather's medals (Order of the Red Banner, Order of the Red Star, a few others), really brings home how much we owe to the people who defend us in times of peril.

Salute to all servicemen that were brave and honest to fight for their countries!
Nov. 11 is not celebrated in Russia... Anyway, I'll drink a glass for their memory, and another one for those who didn't come home.

Nov 11 is remembrance day in Australia, literally remembering the end of WW1, and the diggers who fought in it.

Thank you all. My family actually wishes me a Happy Veterans day every year and it always surprises me because to the average American its just another day off of work. I'd like to honor those veterans who didn't come home and who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country. <S!>

Good post, I lost many relatives in WW2, Bless every one of them and the rest for allowing us to have what we have today!

<S> and thanks to all who went before, that I had the freedom to go when it was my turn. <S> to all who have gone since, that we may all live in a country still free by the sacrifice all made for her.
God Bless America
