please ignore lazs and the the frilly blue ones. they are far too narrow minded to see a good thing as it kicks them in their oh so hard to hit little pills.
please continue to play in the EWA. please bring all 90 of your members as often as is possible. please continue to attack bases. thank you for the training you guys are providing me with. my skill has improved a little bit since I started killing your members. my aim is now much better as is my SA. I don't think I could pay for this level of training and for this I'm truly grateful.

i have never worried about BK's being nearby...in fact there are only a handful of pilots that i up especially to test my mettle against...AKAK, wmlute,, danodano,,,blukitty and the 56th...
The bks dont even make my top ten...well....okay i like to fight stang when i can find him....he is a very good stick and pleasant..hate to lump all in together but you seem to lump us..so lump , lump, lump:lol
maybe if you all were more skilled ..then furballing you would be worth it???
and..once again a handful of bops and bish held off rooks at a1 for all four hours i was on...so draw ypour own conclusions...:p

a handfull of bops is no problem for anyone. left to themselves they can add to the gameplay... so long as they don't try to potatod and so long as "side balancing" doesn't affect.....
THE RULE

I think your new "get back at HT and the players" idea will bite you in the butt..
I think a lot of your players will see just how much your rules and gameplay have hurt their chances to improve and interact with the community.

once again laz...how has our presence ever "hurt" an arena to date? b4 the change when did bops ever imbalance the MA? you have created theoretical problems but the fact is we have never caused any porblems..in fact we fixed them.

i have explained in many posts why we are in EW...we dont expect hitech to change so we have adapted..that is what i believe you and others recommended we do...thanks for the advice!! not a single bop has given up their account!!!

question tho... if you guys are all about numbers balancing in the arenas and you never (THE RULE) change sides.... then why do you suppose that you are allways able to find an underrepresented bish side to "help" balance? could it be that your squad has made being a bish a not very attractive thing?
Don't your guys feel a little embarassed when we have to ditch you and go somewhere you aren't to have a good game?

umm we have never tried to "play with you" so not sure what that means by "ditching us"...i do suspect you are not skilled enuf to fight us so maybe you moved away? hehe sad thing is we didnt notice you...never have until last few days because of your posting...
ummm...bish have numbers in LW..and even all other three..tonite it will change...so yes there will always be an underrepresented arena...even if there isnt then eny will even things out and we will just have to use c202s instead of HOicanes!! that can be fun as well....
never had an ex-bish squad leave because of us...will not be able to say that your squadroin holds the same respect because of the behaviors of your few vocal ambassadors of truth..darn shame really..seem like there are quite a few sensible and decent BKs lost behind your mouth. specifically i think well of stang, furball, edbert and mars01:aok

Yea, Falc. You need to read the history books they use in school now. At Dunkirk the British weren’t retreating; they were only “ditching” the Germans. The Germans where so embarrassed by it that they allowed them back in at Normandy. Then the Russians entered the war, with their horde, and the war was ruined for everybody. China with their horde also tried to ruin a perfectly good war in Korea. Us BoPs could probably learn something from history – such as, the one loosing is usually the one "ditching" the situation. But this is definitely off the topic.
Thanks storch. It is always nice to get some good PR on how the BoPs are contributing to the community. Keep it up.

Falcon does bring up a good point, that 90% of the BKs are pretty piss poor average in fiters. stang, levi, furball and maybe even the little dweeb naffBDP are exceptionaly good sticks, but most of the rest of you wont even dare go to the DA for fear of being humiliated.
The BKs are a well known and talked about squad purely from thier BBs bullchit, not because they can fly better than anyone else, because quite honestly, they really cant.

Shubie and Falconwing hats off I have to agree with Storch in some ways. Since I fly with the 31st and Bish as well. ANd not to speak for the whol 31st but when attacking a field it is good to see the BOPs there.
By the way lazs you sound jealous. Is your squad not so great. I know in the 31st we fly with the squad as a whole to have fun and tp fly with friends. Why shouldnt the BOPs do the same I thought that what a squad was for. Hats off to BOPs and see you guys on the battlefield.

look you see, a tard BK and a Class act BK both together, it takes all types and they aint all bad guys ;)
i dont mean to be rude directly at the bKS, as i so often do, i have taken the views of a few of them and branded the whole bunch. indeed, this will be my shortcoming repeatedly as i look at the squad in general as being a large proportion of those i learnt how to dogfight from. I geuss my post should have been directed at those indivduals in this thread, my appologies blue knights. and i have no problem with anyone in this community how they act or how they play.
all im saying is, almost everybody is full of crap on this BB, weather you rabidly vie for the furballs and nothing else or stay strong on your own ideas of the game no matter what people say.
in my humble view, the BOPs are not the ones in this argument that are full of crap. they are quite honest about themselves.
they admit they might not be the best fighters, they dont try to say their way of playing is final, and they generally cause no bother to any member of the community aside from in 'the warzone'. and its war right, so they pissed you off and won 'the war' at the same time as having great fun.
now the other camp, the anti-boppers who continually go on about learning to furball and, laughably, that 'furballing is the only way to play AH2' are the ones that are totaly full of crap.
they come out with all the bravado and high horse behaviour all day every day when they themselves are just as keen to vulch, ho, cherry pick, horde, etc etc when it comes to actually playing the game.
not only this but they state, in a true 'free civillised world' kinda way, dictate that anyone who doesnt play for furballs is lame, lacking skills, etc etc.
i dont see the bops starting countless threads to demand HT does something about the hordes of furballers screwing up thier tactical game by filling the sky with unorganised chaos.
I say that Lazs and Falcon should go to the DA, as they are clearly the two ringleaders. untill that happens just freaking leave it out already, its so boring its untrue.

first off, i think i should post that film of me in a P40 owning your spit5, even though you started 2k above and had friendlies around you.
now i never said i was anything above piss poor average did i?
the only Blue Knight that i have never beaten 1 on 1 at some point is leviathn, but its not like they dont beat me. (i once cherry picked him off another 109 in the old combat theatre :D)
but oh, look, the thread topic has been sidetracked, someone made a good point to which you feel personally targeted and you're comeback is to pull out your donut and bark as loud as you can........ seems like so many 'de ja vu's.
why not answer back at me with a retort on my opinons, because thus far you've only looked skin deep into what my 2nd post says, obviously, if you're pulling out the flying skillz card.

For giggles, I would be willing to host a KOTH type squad duel in the SEA.
Battle of the Bs (hehehe..... that actually fits with alot i've seen in some threads)
Grab 10-12 BK's maybe, and 10-12 BOP's and we'll do a King of the Hill rules battle tourney for BBS bragging rights.
The first side to win three rounds will be declared the victor.
We can use the KOTH map, everybody up's same field, same plane, one goes north, one south. I will call fight on and everybody goes to it. The squad that win's the first round picks the plane for the next round.
Remember, KOTH rules, so no running for over 30 sec, can't break 6k alt, but I will change the winging rule. That will of course be totally ok.
Run out of ammo, plane unflyable, you have to .ef.
Anybody interested??
(edit: I just took screen shot's of everybody's squads, just so nobody brings in any "ringers". You are allowed to bring current members only to this)
(edit edit: Maybe the winner, and the loser have to add a line to their BBS signatures. We can hash that out later)

if the duel was to be fair, there would have to be a tactical land grab duel also, as to play in the BOPs court.
braggin rights? they dont want to brag about furballing, the want to brag about hitting targets with 1000lbers from 30k, destroying and capturing surrounding bases and moving the war machine forward. oh and of course most importantly they want to brag about pissing on the furballers parade.
Lazs VS Falcon two duels one in lazs' choice, one in falcon's choice would settle it in my mind.
Lazs talks the most smack from the furballers here, Falcon the most from the BOPs.
of course, thats not gunna happen and we all know why.

I have no problem dueling laz...happy to oblige..dunno what it will prove that i dont already know..but sometimes da will cool people off and get them talking...so im up for that.

what i meant to say was, of the Blue Knights that i have fought, i have only not beaten leviathn. stang loves slapping me about once in a while but every now and then i beat him.
i did a reversed on whoever naffBDP is the other day and fought to victory, then i shot him down in a goon, that rocked.
redd taught me alot, i dueled him many times and got a few kills in here and there.
jaxxo can try again in his spit5 vs my p40 if he likes :)
i have infact dueled you wadke i remember in the old DA, i may even be correct in remembering you beat me flat out each time, but then i suck now too so we can try anytime sir.

Actually it didn't answer my question at all. The question I posed to you was "what are the numbers of times you've shot down a BK compared to the numbers of times they've shot you down?". Telling little anecdotes of how you cherry picked Leviathn one time or how you caught Jaxxo low and slow in a Spitfire V doesn't answer the question. Seem to me to be a little bit of chest pounding on your part in a rather feeble attempt to pile on the BKs with the others on this thread. Which begs the other question..."Why do you have such a hard on for the BKs?" Did you try and join them and they rejected you? Did Jaxxo spurn you? Did Superdude kick you out of his bed? going on vacation for a week starting today...
bat.. I don't know what your problem is.. yu can be upset with me on the BB or maybe another BK no prob.. like you say.. it is just BS.. I don't post here much because it really is full of very sensitive guys... My thousands of posts are allmost entirely in the Oclub where people aren't so wussie. I have been posting here because of the changes...
I have never claimed to be more than mediocre at this...never was but... the fact that I will fight in the arena has made me learn. I don't have to worry that I have to have an alt advantage or the best plane in the arena to maybe win more than I lose.
That is my point with the bops... they aren't getting better because a gang bang and fighting for scraps in the best planes in the game doesn'tr teach ya a thing.
The times I have seen you in the arena I have helped you...called 6 or shot people off ya.
I don't do duels because they don't interest me... I want more of a random fight than the heavily scripted duel... rarely do I see a fight in the MA that is much like a duel. I mostly fight from a disadvantage in a slow lesser plane. I do OK and I earn what I get.
What is my problem with the Bop's?
Simple.. they are not fun to be around and they whined the loudest when this all started... I believe that they are gaming the squad limits.. there should never have been more than 32 of em... I also think that THE RULE is a slap in the face to the community.
They claim every bish loves em... I don't know.. BK's have been flying bish and they sure seem to love us too... I have gotten a dozen or more thank you's from bish players who I called six on or shot up a couple of the bad guys on em...
mars got good fights going with other countries and the bish who wanted to do so... we left the Bop's who were ganging a field. We "ditched" em.
sure seems bish (other than bop) were happy with us then? Mars was sure liked when he got the fight away from BOp gameplay...
The bop are about base capture.. not winning the war... that is what they say. I seen em do it.. they steamroll and if they interact with the community it is an accident. they have no problem with 10 guys on one.
they aren't any worse than some others except for... THE RULE ... it is as bad for them as for the community... they are the ones isolating themselves not me... I have played for and against every chesspiece and find the game more for it not less.
they can't know community because they have THE RULE.
I don't even care about em that much... never really heard about em till recently.. never fought one good enough that I bothered to see what squad he belonged to or... seen one when I was bish that was good enough to notice... all I seen was a clump of em turning a fight into a gangbang or....
Worse... in the old MA.... it wasn't just them... they weren't even first... there were joint ops... they came along later... what they did was simply to add to the problem.. the problem was that big groups would milkrun and whorde undefended bases... they copied this crappy gameplay and we ended up with every country doing it. it became gameplay.
It was lousy gameplay...
as for fighting them... well.... 3 BK's beating 6 of theirs wouldn't prove much... I think it is pretty much a given in any case... but... it wouldn't make anyone "right" in this arguement except in one small part of it..(they really don't get better being in that squad)
The arguement is that they ruin gameplay with their particular whorde behavior taking undefended or lightly defended bases.
They had their chance to showwhat good fighters they were in the old MA... they had the chance... We all seen the whordes of all the countries moving on undefended bases of the others all night long...
Why didn't those whordes seek each other out? They all did their best to avoid each other.
Their crying and pouting and threats at the beggining of this change made em a target.... like I said... never really heard of em before as a squad... we musta been hanging out in "different" crowds..
The tears and threats started it but.... THE RULE is what keeps the attention on em.
falc claims he will try to balance things out... I say he doesn't know what balance is...
To him.. balance is equal numbers in the countries and equal base captures.... to me.. and lots others.... balance is a balance in the fights. I don't care if the numbers are 80 80 and 80 in the arena....
80 attacking undefended fields from each country isn't my kind of balance. 150 30 and 20 is perfect balance if there are fights with 15 guys from each side going on.
We will never agree with that.... falc will bring guys to "help" and unbalance the fights.
oh... you guys really don't want to see furball and stang and levi kill 6 or seven "better than 2/1 kd" bops do you? I mean... seriously..

as for "the rule" the only person i see fixated on it in here is lazs himself...so again no way to get him to see that...
so hitech is right in his other post..there is no way to avoid the inevitable...but i think the inevitable is me realizing that some guys will never be happy no matter what others do, say or offer.
ill stay off the boards too...and a big thanks to Karaya and multiple BKs who contacted me personally in the arenas to offer their apologies and offer to "bury the hatchet"....im only too happy too...i thought was a really big gesture on their part and impressed me to no end:aok

Sorry Falc i wont be able to participate in any duel. I moved into my house last thursday and i don't have any internet. I don't believe i'll have the net in the near future, my housemates don't want to fork out any cash to get it. I've had to cancel my account, though soon as i get the net i'll be back. However you never know, there are a few grumbles about having to walk to uni to check emails....
I wouldn't say the bops are only about base capture. I for one have little interest in capturing bases, i've never been put under pressure from anyone in the squad to do so either. I fly with the bops (which i have done for maybe 4-5 years) because it's a non structered squad with its emphasis of having fun. There is a very friendly atmosphere on squad and voice channel. There are many bops who enjoy furballing, there also many that enjoy base taking, gving etc.
I've also no problem with the BK's, i have shotdown members of BKs lots of times, likewise i have been shotdown. I'm sure there are people who fly for rooks/knits that can say a good word or two about me.

I don't even know you so have nothing against you in any personal way. I don't like what you are doing to the game but.... I guess you guys don't much like the way we play either.
I have never fought against or with you that I know of. probly more likely now tho with the changes.
I think the changes are good. If I don't like what you are doing to one arena I can now move to another.
I would have no problem talking to you in person about any of this.... we wouldn't change each others minds but it would at least be interesting and one on one without our "support groups". Would be fun and I hope... reasonably civil.

Seeing that I am an "air mercenary" and fly for whatever country my little heart desires, I will say that I have always loved flying with or against you thrila ... utmost respect for you sir ... hope to see you back in AH sooner than later.

I don't really want to get involved in this, but i would like to say - i dont recall anyone from the Blue Knights saying that we are the best in fighters. We do have some very good individual players, but it is very rare that we fly as a squad. More often than not we are spread over at least two countries trying to shoot one another down. Saying that, i can recall sorties winging with a squaddie where we have racked up kills of 30+ between us, i am confident that a large number of the BK's have sufficent talent that any two of them could go out and do that - there are very few squadrons in game who have players that achieve it.
It is really other people's perception of our group that has made people think, that we think, that we are the best. When we recruit, it is not on skill level, that is another mistake that some people make. It is mostly on their personality and attitude towards the game, and a small part is down to whether they have pissed old man Lazs off or not.
It is not special if you shoot someone who you percieve to be very good down, its a game where people die hundreds of times a month, especially if you are the type of player to get in close and fight someone to gain your kills instead of killing from afar (picking). likelihood is that you will indeed shoot someone down if you put the hours in and go to where the big fights are. The fact is that nearly every person in our squad does not care about getting shot down, just goes hand in hand with the style of fighting.
It all comes down to having fun. One group's idea of having fun is to fight other cartoon planes in the air. The other group's idea of fun is to bomb cartoon buildings to win the strategy war, it is inevitable that clashes will occur because of that, there is nothing that can be done to avoid it.

On Flying
The BKs have (had actually) a disproportionate percentage of "one percenters" in the squad, many of which were named by Bat (you left out Drex and Morph though). There's another teir of ten percenters, and then there's the rest of us. I'd place myself at about 20 in a 3v3 or 5v5. But make that about a 30 in the DA 1v1.

Pretty much the same, but the names change somewhat. :D

I've always felt the arena's were about perfect with 150-200 ppl in them , I never really liked the US prime time packed MA , aussie time zone was always more fun. Sounds a whole lot better all round with the new set-up. And EW and MW , how sweet is that , fly the Kitty without all those lala's around

I have flown in the vicinity with and fought against many a BoP.....like any squad with 10,000+ members, there are a few really damned good sticks....plenty of decent/good sticks.....many many mediocre sticks and literally thousands of really back sucketh sticks. But thats the way the ball bounces....I think storches point was that all these bops, like inumerable rabbits late at night on a desert highway make driving exciting, the bops make playing the game good because there are so many of them to kill and have fun with.

squads should be limited to two, you and your wingman. for variety you can switch around, you can be his wingman. makes you wonder how many of those 2 v 1 ones the 2 would lose :)

i would say i have shot down mre BKs than BKs have shot me down. this is obvious. there are perhaps 25 BK i dont know. there is only one of me. this makes the chances of me finding a BK to shoot down are far more than them finding me.

youre right it doesnt answer the question. besides that, i was laughing at how once i had just managed to shoot leviathn down in a two on one that he started with both of us was the best i had done so far.
if you ask jaxxo, he will confirm that i was in a low slow P40 and he and some other cons all attacked me. he just caught caught out with a few overshoots through his unjustified confidence in the spit5 vs p40. ask him, i did have the film somewhere but is this really about prooving anything?

nope never, i took part in founding my current squad before i even knew who BKs were. before even morpheus, hub, furball were BKs. i do have vague memories of the 13th TAS and BKs merging and laughing at nopoop's posts.

i spotted the MOAT before it was over, i checked to see if the 'outed members' were still on the roster.

BatfinkV has 34 Kills and 45 Deaths versus the BKs since Tour 60. Can't remember exactly when Lev reformed the squad, but I didn't find any BK/Batfink interaction until the mid 60s. :D

Yeah, I was kind of laughing to myself when I read the post thinking how many guys we used to have flying on sorties. On the other hand, we were never really into the whole base capture thing.

I have always flown as a Bish. No reason, just liked most of the people. I do not know the BKs, but I do know the BOPs and Falc. They have always been friendly, welcoming, and fun to fly with.
They do take fields, run missions, but also are often reponding to hordes of Knits or Rooks attacking or rolling up Bish bases somewhere.
They do not just attack, but spend much time flying as individuals, as well as organizing missions. They always welcome nonsquad members to fly with them. They are a friendly and fun group!
To say or intimate otherwise is at best ignorant, and at worse, a lie.
There is no right or wrong way to play the game. You pay your money and do what you like.
If you don't like what others do, look in the mirror, maybe someone doesn't like what you do. AND SO WHAT!
