Mindanao may be the worst map we have.  I hate 'teddy bear' just as much . . .

While it is the worst possible example of a balanced map, it does have some of the best terrain for low alt fights. SKARUIT...keep it. :)

Landed six kills in an F4U-1 a few years ago without ever firing a shot on Mind.  Every one was a maneuver kill winding cons on my six through the valleys.

It's still my favorite map.  WONDERFULLY fun terrain to fly across.  There is a shortage of crinkley bits in the rest of the maps...flying across endless plains is BORING.

Yes - I know that - and refuse to call it that. Why? Because A) It doesn't look like a uterus B) Using female reproductive organs to describe anything is distasteful and impolite.

It looks everything like a uterus hence the name.  If you don't think it looks like that, your swimmers better have SatNav.

Mindnao is a great terrain.  It has the best mountains and valleys next to the outstanding Pizza terrain which is no longer used.  It is small, but with the split arena's, it should be able to stay in the rotation just fine.  I like the terrain since it provides perfect launch fields for the high alt P-47's and P-38's that I like to fly.  I don't fly those planes as much on the other terrains.
