This is the exact type of game the Saint ALWAYS lose. The have just won two games no one thought they would win. The city is whipped into a frenzy over the reopening of the Superdome. The Goo Goo Dolls and U2 will play during pregame and halftime. It will be on national tv. Its against arch rival Atlanta. The game could hardly get any bigger. And this is the type of game the Saints always lose:cry

GO Atlanta................:aok

Well, someone has to lose.

Two teams I don't care about, a band I don't care about , playing in a city I can't stand. Plus Monday Night Football on ESPN instead of ABC. Yawn
Thank God for AH tonight.

Yea yea - and some people look forward to a nice Healthy choice dinner as a treat. I'm glad you love your life. I passed on Sulphur Springs Texas when the asked me where I wanted to rot.
Anyway - did you see the pre game?
So... how do you all start your games?:D

I'm at work so I, uh, popped open a tall cool one...of Dr. Pepper.

I'm glad I love my life too. If you intend to rot , N.O. is as good of place as any I guess.

So's Sulphur- been there - left quick. ****************20 -3 ******************
Sorry - just checked - it was Marshal, Texas- same difference.
-
Haha we gettin our butts whooped :rofl Saints really deserve it though:aok

Well, I'm just shocked. I've been watching the Saints since 1967, and this is the type of big game we ALWAYS lose. Now I dunno - this is new ground. Anything is possible :O
So... I wonder how much it would cost to have U2 open for all of our games?
:D

BTW, it's a new team under Sean Payton.
I'm from the NO area and I've been a Saints fan all my life. My wife and I have been going crazy the last 4 hours. It was a great game and event. I'm so happy for the city and I hope they pull it together and continue to get help from others.

Yeah Marshall and Sulphur Springs have a lot in common. Both cities went out of their way spending their time and money to feed cloth, and house people from New Orleans for months.:aok
BTW I'm happy for you the Saints won.

Well I hope you're not one of those people that had to deal with the scum that floated out of New Orleans.
I also hope you're not one of those miserable souls who try to suck the fun out of anything and make others as boring and as miserable as they are.
Thats how this struck me..

Maybe I took it wrong. So thanks, I'm glad they won also. It was nice to have the city united behind something that doesn't really mean anything, again :D

I didn't see them as scum , they were people that needed help. We were glad to help. In fact some of the folks have stayed here and become part of the community.
The lineup for Monday could not have been more boring for me personally. I just can't get excited about the teams the band or the city. I didn't mean to knock you personally though, and sure wouldn't want to dampen your fun or excitment. One of them times I probably should have kept my opinon to myself. Feel free to bash the Cowboys, Chiefs and my favorite Texas city of San Marcos. I don't have a favorite band, sorry.
We'll call it even.

I liked the pre-game stuff..the National Anthem was song better than Ive heard in a long time..no foolish Witney Houston runs..but the game sucked.
