Has anyone seen the WBIII new P47? I still love my AH but that is one pretty P47. From an artistic point, its one of the best jobs I've seen. Congrats to Lem & ien, nice job I must say.

What colors did they model it in? 56th FG?
I havent seen it yet.

I think its a 78th FG P-47D-25, "No Guts, No Glory." The skin is nicely done and the model has a lot more polygons than the Aces High jug. The cockpit is very nice too. Everything is pretty much where it was historically, but the gauges are hard to read. There's no antialiasing on the gauges like in Aces High. Overall Lemsko and iEN did a nice job on the jug model.

Disclaimer: This is not anti-WBIII post so cheerleaders don't respond pls. I'd post it on AGW but some of the guys don't seem to like criticism of their baby from anyone who isn't part of the cult. ;)
[rant]How the heck could they not pick a 56th FG scheme? 56th is the oldest unit in WB flying these planes. Gabby came to the WB Con and (I thought) made a helluva impression on everybody. But they pick a non 56th scheme?[/rant]
That said, it looks great. :)
Proportions look strange but I think that is just a perspective thing.

I believe the P-47C will wear 56FG colors. Maybe Zemke's "My Comrade" (http://www.lemsko.de/3d/P47/P47c/peace1.jpg).
I think the proportions look funny when viewing at 90° field of view. Reduce it to 55 and it looks right. The cowl flaps are way too big, but a nice touch, as are the intercooler door cutouts. The front canopy bracing is excellent, but the main canopy bubble is too wide and too long. The pilot armor is too far forward and too thin.
My main beef with WB jug is it bleeds E a lot faster than the AH jug--especially compared to other WB planes. It also lacks the crisp high speed handling that I've read the real life jug had and that the AH jug does have.
