I have got folks ROLLING on the ground with that "Chicken pot pie" text message story that I think xBat posted?  Anyway, to relate that personal story/trajedy into text is some creative writing.  :)

Hehe, I bought one of those family-sized "tray" of Chicken pot pie and began heating up the oven when my oldest child asked what is for dinner...depending on what his reaction is, determines if both of the kids will eat it..well, he got this sorry look on his face when he saw me put it in the oven..so I sat down and told him the "CPP" story...the kids were laughing, and running around the house saying "Chicken pot pie, Chicken pot pie, Chicken pot pie"  and when dinner was served, Chicken pot pie was consumed down to the last pea in the pan.  :D

Been trying to find his original thread, but we have such a fine search tool on this BBS, that if you put in the user name as batdog, and do a search, it can't even find his post from today!  :(

Its one of those stories ya just have to envision this silly banana dancing around singing "Chicken pot pie, Chicken pot pie, Chicken pot pie" and then envision him with a sad face, whispering "chicken---pot----pie".  Of course, you have to be a non-NY'er to have a sense of humor as well.  :)

I read thu that thread... said "unnnh...ok...."

..then I hit the sound file link in the thread. Since the connex was kinda slow, I just cranked the volume up, then got up to go take a leak.

Then, just at the worst possible moment, the sound file came up out in the living room; 'hey.. that's Cartman.." and I was laffin so hard i peed all over the cat; the wall and the sink.

I don't get it.  However I do feel empathy for those who have lost freshly heated frozen baked goods.  It's a tragedy which has inspired me to cursing binges eclipsed only by the time I ran my bare foot into the door and ripped off a toenail.

I guess the avarge weight of a chicken in a pot is 3.14 pounds. Ya know? Chicken+pot=pi? <G> I can see Rip AND his kids doing that..<G> Must...have...pie....<drools> I love chicken pot pie! lol
