IMO I don't think that would be good idea. Too many posibilites of abuse ie hunting down somebody...
.wingman and 'go to' works just fine.

The community is to be commended for not running with the humorous but off color possibilities of the thread's title.

.f pacerr

pacerr is in Late1 flying an LA7 from the base closest to a vulched field.

.f SHawk

SHawk is behind you, shooting, despite the fact you looked there 2 seconds ago and never saw a damned thing.

and the can of worms is officially open.

When Pyro, HT, and Skuzzy came in during the 15th to test the page and find commands, someone had just used one of those oh so clever retorts following a fight like "go **** yorself looser". A few seconds later, I see Pyro say something like, "try using .f player". I lol, spill some coffee, and then decide to give it a go. Imagine my surprise upon trying .f pyro and seeing "HTC_HUB: Pyro is in MW1. :noid

if you're in the arena they are, you can type .goto [player_name] and it will take you to that base. Will only work if your allowed to go to that base - eg your on the same country...

Thought ".f gameid"  was shorthand for flipping the named player the bird over 200.  Seems like it would be a shortcut in huge demand here.

Well, I'd like to expand it to find my squad members.

->   .f [squad name}

So it would basically check you first and if you have the same squad name as you are searching for it would display all the people with the same "handle extension" i.e. squad name and their whereabouts.

I gotta admit, I never even knew about the .f command until just now. Like others, I was considering such enlightened replies to this thread as, "Well, go .f yourself." Thankfully, I resisted the urge. :aok

See, I read them! lol. I surprised the **** outa my friends by going to another arena and .p ing them! Just out of curiosity, what does the .wingman command really do? Ive used it, but all it seems to do is make their icon white. Is that all it does?

Yes. It highlights the wingmans icon. You can change the color if you want to in OPTIONS > PREFERENCES > Icon Display.

He might look better in pink? :D
