Spatula,

Try posting the pictures you want on a different web domain, I think GeoCities may have some sort of lock-out on image requests (perhaps some kind of conflict with their requirement of having ad POP-UPs for ALL images presented)

I think you are formatting the links correctly, it's just the web space where your pictures are located are being blocked (by GeoCities) from outside links.

I think some of the guys are using tripod.com successfully for web pages to post pics to (then link here).
