Does that mean vote 'yes' if you like the new system, or say 'no' if you prefer the old one? I guess I just like the game, whether I'm flying early war rides or chasing LA's with my Pony-D.

So I'll take the third option, which basically says I enjoy the game regardless of what period I find myself flying in. I'm an equally mediocre pilot in early or late war planes. Equal-opportunity suckiness!

I'd really like an evolving planeset which starts off everyone in one huge arena at the beginning of the war, with the winning country having the option of advancing the time a bit, or keeping it the same (pop-up box when reset occurs, with majority rule on yes/no advancement). If you didn't like the planeset you were in, work to change it by organizing missions and base-captures. But there's a ton of reasons that would be unpopular as well...

HT said he changed things because of issues resulting from so many being online at the same time. I saw some of those issues today. Radio range messages causing bad lag issues and loss of sound from things like hits and damage. Mid airs when there wasnt a midair. Planes getting shot down and no kill getting recorded. These just to name a few. I liked the big maps but hoard raids caused these issues too and no telling what else HT hears about.

fun fights in ew/mw...little emphasis on pork and strat

tension, drama and yo baby's mama in lw1...this doesnt exist in other arenas...

There is no question but that the Main Arenas are better. War winners have mostly motated to the LW, leaving EW and MW for the air-to-air people. Everyone SHOULD be happy.

Except for AvA afficionados......

People like to fly with alot of other people. Thats why LW is high in numbers. IMHO. Thats where I fly the most, because I like fighting more than the same 10 people.

How many of you have noticed that there is actually less lagg with only 250 - 350 in the arena compared to the old 650 - 750?

AH has a LONG LONG history of sweeping changes taking place with NO notice.
Its root hog, learn to adapt, or die, survival of the fittest. And if you can't cut it, well too bad. If you don't like it same deal. This is HT's sandbox and we play here as his guests. Yes we pay for the priviledge, but those priviledges can be revoked at any time. He owns the sandbox, he makes the ground rules, we follow them. Its as simple as that.

However, I feel there are certain issues that need to be addressed. namely the limit of players in a arena. I know I know HT is already working on that and several other tweeks so I wont put in a laundry list.
Mainly i just wanted to point out that the game and the community are a very dynamic things and cant be veiwed in just black and white or a simple yes or no.

The ppl who dont like the change need to understand also that change is enevitable, sometimes painful but it will have to change from time to time. It has in the past and it will in the future.

While true I guess the real test is to make the LWA hold 600 people again and see how it populates. If 600+ appear on most nghts that says something. Personally, lag hasn't been a problem for me although folks have complained about it from time to time.

As Ghosth said, we don't make the game nor the rules so we ride the train or get off. If enough get off the train stops running. Somehow I don't think that will happen. So jump aboard, pick your poison and have fun.

My vote? I agree with NB. :)
