Before I headed out today I had read replies from eagl and john9001 in the other thread with suggestions on how to minimize camera shake. I never knew about the one legged 'tripod' so thanks john...I will check that out...sounds like it may be the answer.
Eagl also mentioned breathing and positioning to minimize camera shake (which was a problem for me yesterday...maybe 1 out of 3 photos sufferred from it) Anyway, today I used your technique and had great results. Thx
Have a look:

Colour, clarity and contrast all appear pretty good. Any and all criticism welcome.

Some really good shots there xrt. Digital photography is so amazing. It really can make rank amateurs look like they know what they're doing! :)

Thx Diablotx. I figure I've put in about 150 hours into this so far. It's nice to see some results for the effort.
As I have indicated before, there have been comments made by members of the bbs that have been very helpful. I expect others have learned too, because of all these photo threads people have posted and responded to. Always helps when you can get someone who knows to push you toward the right path.

Had uploaded this one, but forgot to link to it. Couple buildings that are right on Front St. Near Yonge St.

Shot 187 photos today. Almost all of them came out like these. Maybe only a dozen didn't work out.

This Thurs I have a photoshoot scheduled for my *****in' Camaro (Dead Milkmen for the youngsters in here) with my ex-sister in law. She is an accomplished photographer has a good friend that is a real looker who I am bribing to get into a bikini and high heels to model with my car. When she gets the pics done I'll post them in here. No promises though. :D

Picture number one looks abit bright and blurry but the rest are very good toronto!
I love pictures of skyskrapers, buildings, bridges and other urban stuff like that.
My dad has one of those poles to stick the camera on, and he uses it alot when taking his nature pics. Its a very cheap and good investment. He looks like a dolt with it in the city, but for him that kinda takes him up a notch. :D
