Back in 1999, I almost dropped $9,000 on a near mint condition 1943 Dodge WC-42 1/2 Ton Carryall.   I was gonna fly out to CAlifornia, and drive it back to Michigan.   It would have made it too.  :(

If I ever come across the "right one" again, I'll buy it.   To ME, those are some of the most beautiful 4x4's ever produced.  

It was also on 35" BFGMuds.

I wonder if the Schwimwagen is road legal?  It would be great for me to have for those days when the interstate on the way to or from work is shut down and the only way home or to work is across the river....:D
