Yes I know that this has and will be asked hundred times more. But hey, you can't get anything if you dont ask. The B-25, used in Doolittle's raid. They broke through Japanese defenses and bombed Tokyo. They didn't do much damamge, but they proved themselves in battle. The B-25s would be a great addition to the Early War Arena. The EWA would get a lot more traffic.

I say Yes to the B-25, and no you are the first to ask for the B-25 for the EWA. The B-25 could also be in the MWA, and maybe even the LWA. It was used threw the whole war.
-
For the most part it would be MWA, or depending on the version LWA. I doubt it'd make it into EWA, but that's a guess.
I've been asking for the Mitchell for a long long time. Despite not seeing it in Aces High yet, I remain hopeful!!
-
:aok Lets fight to the death. Which with the way CT is going, and no new planes til thats done, I'd say about 50 years!
-
That 75mm cannon on it could be used against M-3's and M-16's. Would be bad for barracks, or a little strafey strafey against a VH!
-
:aok
-
bring the b25 H to aces high! no excuses, no waiting, this plane is overdue by at-least 3 years...and the 75mm is needed as a panzer killer, prob why its not here yet, I will support every thread linked to the 25 all the way, just remember HT doesnt want to hear about launching em off of cv's so dont bother with that aspect...:aok

Simply because after we get the B-29, we will have unCodly numbers of g!v 73 NOOK! threads from all the L337 pl4y3rs.
-
it would be worth having a nuke just for the hilarity of dropping one on tank town.
the pointy click gvtards already froth at the mouth when people dare go over their town in a plane, imagine what they would do if you gave them a nice multi megaton gift.
-
I wouldnt mind the nuke if they just sized it down from its full power!!! No B-29 though.

What game is that SIM? Looks like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002, or 2004, or 2006?

2004

I don't think anyone's asked for the B-25 yet.
Great idea. :aok :aok :aok
-
Yeah... I know, im chuck full of good ideas.... :noid
-
I'm very suprise that the B25 has not shown up in AH. It deserves to be here. U.S. first offensive attack on enemy soil.
Besides it be very cool taking off from the CV in it.

Oh one more thing, Yes to B29 also. Have it only available to bases around HQ, like the me163 and charge a lot of perkies.
No nuke

-
We dont want the B-25 for takin it off a CV. We want it to be a nice low level bomber and a good porker. It can be useful against panzers and lower GVS.

But the 163 cant fly 500 miles. We could still get to places

am i the only one who knows the tail gun was removed from the B25 and replaced w/ broom sticks in the raid on Tokyo because enemy patrol boats spotted the american fleet and they had to make the bomber as light as possible to make it to China??

No, you're not.
But, if it makes you feel cool, you can pretend you are. ;)
:D
Actually it had nothing to do with the patrol boats, the decision was made long before they were detected. However, they did pack the planes with extra cans of fuel in the hope that it would help them make the Chinese coast after the raid

If you're thinking of the B25H it would be totally useless against tanks. The big gun fires an HE round, suitable for unarmed ships and non-moving (and unarmored) targets. It was all but useless to most B25 pilots, and they dumped them on less fortunate squadrons as soon as they could get J models. It would be like firing an HE shell at a tank in AH now, a pretty fireball, and no damage. HE, not AP.
I say "forget the H!" We need C and J.
-
yeah C and J
BUT! wouldn't the H be good against Towns/porking/and TGs?
-
Yes, it would kill buildings, problem is it doesn't have enough ammo for it to be significant. At 2 shots per building your looking at a total of 10 buildings you can level.
As much as I love the B-25 H I'd rather have an early war varient for EWA, and the J for MWA.
-
I want the b-25, and have asked for it many times over the last 2 years or so. :)
-
we want a b25 thread open again,,because b25's that dont lauch off cv's are fargin cool!:aok
-
no nukes you nutcases you lower the probability of the b25 thread being taken seriously with that stuff, give me mitchell or give me,,,,,a p39?, or both?:huh
-
:)

I would like the H as well as the earlier variants and later variants. I have always have had a strong liking for this craft, as it was the first model plane I ever built.
-
I dont have the patience to make models, but all the other bombers are out of date. Yeah the B-24 is sorda new, but we need some good bombers. Lord knows the B-17 is a great bomber, but we just want something different. Just give us a new plane and a lot of us will shut up.
