I am offended by the actions of what appears to be a petulant child.

I am offended by the fact that the actions of this child may (to those who do not know us) tarnish the names of my squaddies (whom I consider good friends).

I do not think that anyone who knows us would think that a member of JG44 (my squad) could be responsible for this....

Never the less

To anyone who reads this thread and does not know us:

JG44 are a bunch of fine americans, They band togeather when one of us is in need of assistance and they are great guys to fly with....

I am proud to be associated with its members (yeah even doobs)

All that were slandered by this individual, are highly respected by this squad and it's members. I really do not have to defend the integrity of this squad, we are known in this community on all fronts as supporters of the staff and it's members. I am glad HTC rectified it in such a timely manner.

I've always wondered why HTC permits the non-players to post here. My suggestion would be to give the non-subscribers "read only" privs to all forums.

My girlfriend likes to stalk me around the forums every once in a while. It doesn't cause any harm and is fun, but she isn't a subscriber at the moment.

Hell, I just got her to download the game. She hasn't even flown yet as far as I know.

Same goes for people on H2H. Or for guys like Ghosth... that temporarily cancel their account, but still want to stay in touch.

Also, what about people on the free weeks? Or people that want to learn the game offline first?....

No, tying the BBS to game account wouldnt fly IMHO. Besides, it wouldnt keep the trolls and idiots out.... do you think that this JG44whatever guy was new here? Apparently he knew enough about the community to play his troll well.....

Then they could find out who it was and ban them... now, its not too hard to ghost an ip and do whatever you want in here.

As it is now, 'JGwhatever' can come back as many times as he wants and do it again and again.

Until the ability to create a forum account is disabled, this will continue to happen... forum account creation have to be handled by HTC, either through subscripton or the simple oversight of Skuzzy or a MP.

reguardless, this dude is butthurt bout something but like i said before, we keep replyin bout his post and all we're doin is feedin his ego and the fact that we dont know who he is exactly what he wants. he is gettin the attention he is craving, who knows maybe his mom and dad didnt hug him when he was a kid and he feels distraught over that. personally, i could careless what ppl think bout me. i am me and i will never change.
