Not going to post a link for the movie, you can look it up for yourselves as it may be borderline here
But I think this is going to be a groundbreaking movie and the shape of things to come in mainstream movies.
LOL The Diehard right ultra conservatives are gonna hate this one fer sure

Plot Outline: A group of New Yorkers caught up in their romantic-sexual milieu converge at an underground salon infamous for its blend of art, music, politics, and carnality.
What's not to love? :huh

It apparently has real sex -- man on man, man on woman, etc. Just another low budget art film that will be watched by the art crowd in a limited distribution. Check out "Brown Bunny" sometime. Artistic directors making self-indulgent "edgy" film art always make something like "real sex that's art, NOT PORN!" a yawn fest, even if it involves Chloë Sevigny. Doesn't even reach B movie status.

Nope. No real money in it. A fraction of the box office returns compared even to a "Mission Unpossible XIII."

Nor will the mainstream, by and large, meaning limited ticket sales and revenues and limited distribution. Good luck even trying to see it in a local theater outside of a major urban area. In mainstream Hollywood $ talks and artistic BS walks. A "Lost in Transaltion" is about as close as you are going to get to a mainstream art house film.

Actually by and large seems ot be getting pretty good reviews.
My point though is in being that the real sex scenes seems to be the natural progression of movie making.
40 years ago a nude scene in a movie however gatutious was considered shocking. Prior to that it rarely happened. Though there is an original Tarzan movie from ( I think) the 30s that had breif underwater nudity in it
that can occasionally be caught on TCM
Since then it seems to be going farther and farther along in mainstream.
Its only a matter of time before it makes the jump from B movies to megabuck
Just as Night of the living dead started it with all the gore
Maybe not a major motion picture now. But in say..20 years people will be wondering what the hub bub was all about.
The diehard right and yea probably alot of mainstream will hate it because it has real sex scenes in it.
A fact which just amuses the hell out of me.
Its ok to have movies like Jason, Private Ryan, Texas Chainsaw massacre, or Even the Godfather
or any of a host of other blockbuster films
Where graphically its as real as you can get without actually killing or hacking up someone
Yet people having real Sex is viewed as bad and/or immoral.
Pretty pathetic I think
Mindboggling even.

You know, they were saying the same thing when Deep Throat came out 35 years ago :)

Actually that may only be correct over on your side of the pond. In the 60s and 70s there was made alot of films in scandinavia and europe with tons of nudity. It was more accepted then than a decade ago. Now they are back again.
P.S. did you have a link to the movie itself, or the official site?

Sex? Doesn't everyone do it? It's one of those sports in which it's much more fun to participate than watch.

Ah, errr... we were talking about golf weren't we?

porn films have been around for more than 40 years.... many have had more sex and more of a distribution than this film will.
