Whether this is good bait or stinky I'll reply.

The subscription allows you access to the online arenas. Those being the three Mains, Allied vs. Axis, Dueling, Training and Special Events Arenas.

Without a subscription you only have access to offline and the 8-player head to head arena. Those are player hosted and have a limit of 8.

its a pastry.  its good.  try it.

(full membership has its priveledges.)

in my opinion, there is no comparison.  the free h2h is alot of fun but the main arenas are such a broad swath of action and make up the main body of the larger community.

i play H2H from time to time and i enjoy it...but once you get to know people in the mains...its like a little family of fellow mental cases at your side.  it's can be pretty amazing.   IMHO.

try the canoli.

Dan,

the short answer is yes.

At least in my not so humble opinion.

Now, basic common sense would suggest that if there were no difference, there wouldn't be 2 levels ;)

Now, before I get the smart reply, remember, you asked if it was the same, not What the differences were :D

Hey MrMidi,  Yep I've been bugging Emory for a couple of weeks now.  Trying to find one of my old joysticks to give him so he can try it out.  I got a 3 year old X45 and and even older Afterburner around here somewhere.
He finally downloaded it last week.

Dan, when you pay for AH, you can take part in any of the theaters and arenas online.  The numbers are much larger.  More fun.

You'll also find the arenas more enjoyable than this bulletin board.

Regards,

hap

Not really, other than the fact that it will allow you to continue to play the game :lol
