A copy of a email I just sent HTC in case anyone might have an idea what the hell is going on.

Been having a problem for a long time not being able to log in. I click online and ok at the user name/password screen, then I get to the arena selection screen click on the main and AH freezes "pointer wont move, cant alt-tab out" for 20 seconds or so and I get sent back to the name/password screen. When it hangs I can ctrl-alt-del twice and restart my computer. "SOMETIMES" this will allow me to get in after redialing out, but I have been locked out of the main for 24 hours now, and was locked out last wed for squad night. Wierd thing is I can get in the TA no problems, but the main wont let me in.
My specs.
P2-300
64m of ram
Diamond monster 3d2 (8M)
Creative SB awe 64 soundcard
USR internal modem
WIN 98
Last time I emailed you about this was over a month ago "before the Training and SE arenas were added" and your advice was to update all my drivers, so I did and the problem seemed to go away, but now its back. I have all the latest drivers for everything.
I tried my brothers computer, I have my isp account installed on it, and I can get in no problem, any arena.
Makes no sence why I can get into the TA but not the main, I didnt bother to attach a traceroute, did last time and we both agreed that it looked fine and wasnt the problem. Just wondering what you think I should try next.

Locked out since this morning...can get in the SE and TA arenas just the main wont let me in so...PUNT

Problem been happening enough lately that I noticed 1 thing. Usually when I click to enter an arena, I can hear a disk read, and shortly after i get in. Those times I cant get in, I dont hear that short disk read.
Just in case it matters.
Plus after rebooting my comp 6 times to get in i wanted to punt this thread again. "was determined to log in tonight, even if I was here all night!"

You might try reinstalling AH. You will want to save the folders for your custom sounds so you can just put them back when you are done. Also, delete the settings folder before reinstalling. (You will have to remap views, keys, stick, etc. This does reset all settings to default after the reinstall, so it's a good thing.)
You might also try a scandisk and defrag before reinstalling.

Actually bloom, I have done 1 better. Having this problem since the very begining, I decided to clean my system up, formatted, switched from win 95 to 98, and installed all the newest drivers "as of a month or so ago" I had nothing on my system cept windows and AH. Same thing. My brothers computer, on the same account on the same isp will let me in. Obviously there is something screwy with my machine...why its only the main and not the other arenas would be the question of the day.

Last one I got from ya was where you asked me about my brothers machine and if I was on the same isp... Same isp same account even.
If thats the one you mean...if not then I guess i didnt get it.
