Is the flight model actually this horrible? Or do they have something like an h2h arena where the host can tweak the wind settings?

I used to play, tried that with full flaps offline. But, hell no that must be a bug, the C47 is still a relitively new aircraft
-
I tried that game once.. I couldn't get a 110 off the ground. But I got it to go in perpetual circles with no throtlle though.
-
there was a video going around about 4 years ago (or more) with a 110 doing CRAZY circles in place on its nose. That game used to be suuuuper buggy but i dont know about it now. I havnt played it in years.

WW2OL will always be a ground game. Aces High will always be an air game. The fact that WW2OL has planes doesn't mean they work like planes, and the fact that AH2 has GVs doesn't mean they work like GVs.
If we accept this, then things come into perspective a little more.
Play the game that follows the path you want: Ground or Air.
I choose Air.

anyone know if the sun still comes up twice every morning?(in ww2 online)
-
The sun never comes up in ww2ol. Its a constant twilight with gray skies. Horrible really. Most planes do work pretty good in there though, the c47 is a new one to me.
-
Even with a decent computer the game has lousy graphics.
-
WW2 Online staff: "Its not a bug, its a feature, and ...and...it must be really windy!" :lol

wow, when I played it would start to dawn after about 20minutes of night(if i remember correctly) it would slowly get brighter and brighter and then just before full daylight it would get dark(very dark) again for several minutes before the sun would slowly come up again.
then it would be regular daylight until evening and nighttime.
i did hav fun in there tanks - infantry was a blast, but in those days my frame rate would drop to around 10 if i upped a plane .. so i quit
i seem to remeber the engine would be louder if i "looked " at the wing too.
i loved the game intro with the butterfly and the tank!!!

You kidd'n me?
I've seen planes do turns like that here in AH.
Not only turn like that. But then able to catch up to me doing 350
-
WTF!!??:huh
-
anyone ever see the 110 vid called the bug. omfg it was funny. when one engine was shot out and you tried to take of the 110 would spin around and take off like a helopter.
-
Theres nothing wrong with that C47's flight model...
The problem was caused by the para troopers in side, or to be more spercific the breakfast of beans, eggs and bacon they had and the resulting gases they were releasing whilst waiting for take off.........
Its was all ok till one of the troopers decided to light a smoke, thats why it blew up at the end....
-
mussie, no para tags, none was inside lol
