Title: 7600GT..9147 does not work
Post by: maque1 on October 12, 2006, 01:40:32 AM
Anyone have any knowledge how to make the new 91. nvidia driver series work?

I seem to have some sort of vert sync problem with the 91 series.

My 7600GT x 2 SLI doesn't do that great with the 84 series also..a little weak.

Im using the 7600 GT( PCIe) just fine. With the 84.66 drivers.

IIRC, Skuzzy said the 9x.xx drivers dont work.

My PCIe 7600GT installed 84.66 as well, I think.

9145 seems to have vert sync problem.  Objects blury, can see horizonal lines moving top to bottom.  The frame rate is higher than the refresh rate of the screen.  Understand that is not good.

with 8421 I am getting "atifacts" and bizzar abnormalities after flying very low and sometimes freezes with high resolutions.  1024 res seems to be bearable.

i'm using 9.1.47 on a gt 7600 on my iMac.  Works good once I got the "compatibility" tab thing actuated due to intel dual core processor.

maybe 9.1.47 will work for u.

Im running on 1280x1024 no problems. If youre getting artifacts.... have you checked your temperatures? Maybe the card is running hot?

But performance not only depends on your GC. Its also about CPU speed and RAM. And then very much depends on what other vid settings you use. Preloading anything? texture size?

If you arent sure what you can use.... make a dxdiag report and email it to Skuzzy at support@hitechcreations.com. He can recommend settings/drivers you should use.

I think I'm running 84.xx on a 7900 GTX and I get red bleeds on the screen, i.e. red text in the sky leaves trails and such. I'm going to revert to the 64.xx when I get a chance.
