Title: What would you do if you were president?

But honestly if you were president in all this chaos what would you do?

Personally I think Bush is doing a hell of a job.

great, so when it comes to rouge countries like korea and iran there isnt a whole lot that we can do...

increase incentives to companies for making leaps in alternative energy so we can take that into the future.

stop the loyalty oaths that are required to see me speak because that makes me seem like a petty insecure moron who needs to be stroked like a baby to feel comfortable.

OH and BTW cav the one thing about starting to drill oil in Alaska is that, it is a back up source. we should take all of iraq's oil then use Alaska if we have to. But right now we need to save that for the future and for are army.

but now I have another question for yall. After the trade center attack what would you have done?

If it were me I would have done the same thing. If we would have stayed at home and let them attack us like Clinton did then we would be cowards and the US would start falling apart from car bombings. I think bush did the right thing in this situation.

I would go on TV and tell the entire world that the US will withdraw all our troops within 1 year with the following conditions. Any attacks agaist US or Allied troops will extend our stay 1 year for each attack. They want us out, leave us alone.

Second thing I would do is have the 509th bomb wing fly a couple of special missions. 2 B-2's with inert, parachute retarded bombs, would be sent to North Korea and Iran. The inert bombs would be dropped into the capitals of both countries with a note attached saying, "The next time, we won't be playing!!" Let them draw their own conclusions.

You obviously don't realize that Congress has more of an impact than Clinton, Bush, Kerry or Hillary ever would have.

This way, Iraq has direct motivation to speed up the transition to their internal forces but doesn't lose the capabillity of keeping itself together.

To make it interesting for the US soldiers, make the rates charged for their services high enough to support better pay and give them the option of leaving if they're uninterested in being mercenaries.

It's win-win: The US is no longer the "outsider pushing its agenda and timeline on the middle east", Iraq can control its own future by setting the training schedules and having direct accountabillity, the US stops hemorrhaging money, and the soldiers get more money.

For domestic issues, I'd drop the Patriot Act and lobby support for a home defense strategy based on educating local law enforcement at a state level. The federal government has too much power, and the Patriot Act is the kind of structure that makes it even stronger and removes accountability.

We are the United States of America. We're not the Kingdom of America. The pendulum swings back and forth for the balance of power between federal and local, and it's time for it to swing back to the states.
