Title: Waypoint touches land!
Post by: cav58d on October 12, 2006, 09:32:11 PM
Currently you have to guess whether your touching land when setting waypoints on the cv....not that big of a deal when its single point, but if your doing multiple points its sort of a pain in the butt....

i believe too close is like 1-2 cm's off the coast....right now the line for waypoints is solid green...what if when we crossed the line of "touching land", the line would turn red?  can it be done?

CVs are meant to be kept away from the shores and hostile enviroments. Don't put your waypoints close to land. Problem solved ;)

Unless you are plotting it on a course to pass by multipul target bases and try to take them as you pass. In that case you need to get the CV close to the bases to spawn LVT's.
