When the United States goes to war for a prolonged perior of time (IRAQ), is naval aviation limited to carrier ops, or do they start stationing hornets and other strike aircraft at land bases for daily ops?

Ive seen NAVY and USAF 18s dual and single seats on land bases. So I assume so
-
i would think the Navy would use Marine bases
-
Cool question btw.
