i need help on torpedo runs
-
Under 200' and under 200mph otta do ya fine :aok

Going broadside gives you a much larger target, lead more then you think you will need to and let em go when ack starts shooting. Don't attack from behind, the torpedos aren't fast enough. If you go from the front you have a much smaller target then from the side but you don't have to lead if you are right straight on.
-
you also might want to try hopping into a PT boat and throttling back to the speed of a torpedo.
This will give you a decent sight picture on where you should lead the ships and will greatly help you when you hop in an airplane while on an attack run.

Torps run about 23MPH I believe, was trying to test it but couldn't hit it right on. It's between 20-25 though.
-
also, with PT boats, try firing wide spreads to increase the odds of a hit.

what about planes?

Under 200', under 200mph....
Now my question....
What is the N.E.W. of the Torps in the game & How mush does it take for the CV & Cruisers to take down?
