Kinda knew it was gonna happen, but a great loss in music....

Freddy Fender passed away.  I you were lucky enough to catch a Texas Tornados show....and were old enough to drink during it - you'll know what I mean....

I first saw them on austin city limits, never did see them live.  a truly great band.  I agree, music is less without him.  descanse en paz Don Baldemar.

I can't tell you how many times I danced to "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights" in some honky tonk.
