Cancel my account without losing my name?  I am going to quit AH but maybe in the future I will come back and would like to use that nick.  Any info will help.

You can't guarantee you'll get that name back if you quit.

However, HTC doesn't throw that name back into the pool so to speak AFAIK.

If you ask nicely they can reset your old name when you come back so you can take it again.

Once you cancel your account, we cannot guarantee that it will be available if you should resubscribe in the future.

In the event that the handle is available, you will not be able to carry over the previous perk points or score attached to that specific handle.

Thanks so basically its a dead soldier.  Moving and won't be offline to long I hope just wanted to know if I could get my old name back.
