Title: blue screen probs. tried changing vid.cfg

ive tried changing the vid.cfg file to 16bit. i still get blu screen. will the game run on a laptop? maybe i just have a bad download?

What version of directX do you have?


You need at least 6.1, but 7a or 8a would be better.

i have directx 7.0

You should be able to get it to work on a laptop (some people have).  Make sure you set the AH resolution the same as your laptop's screen resolution as well.
