Pearl is gearing up for December.
Jordi and Doobs will be the COs for this side switch event.
The Scenario Team is currently considering the CO for Team Zeke.
Those familiar with the event know about the Duties of Team Zeke, for those who don't, here's a quick review.
Pearl Harbor is a 4 Frame event, where Both Teams get to be the IJN And the US. 2 Frames as one side, Swap, and 2 frames as the other side. The side with the Best Score wins the overall event.
Due to the nature of the event, IJN was in a superior position relating to attack elements. To make the Side Switch system work, both Team Alpha and Team Zulu are Even In Numbers, Team Zeke is exclusively Zekes, to keep the IJN Side perpetually higher in numbers.
At this time, Jordi has ran as Undisputed Champ of the Pearl Harbor Scenarios over the years, and returns to make an attempt at continuing his reign.
Doobs has proven to be a capable leader and considers himself to be THE leader to take Jordi down.
Who will lead Team Zeke and be the Terror to Both Teams, as you will both work With each team, as well as come up against them. This could be the more demanding job of any of them.
Very Strong Leadership and organizational skills are required to lead Team Zeke, as Both of the COs are very dedicated, and detailed planners.

I've heard there are actual films of this "Val of Doom" of which you speak. Of course they've only been seen by those who are serious in nature and who are intent on winning the war!:mad:

Base Numbers should be aroun 100 for Team Alpha, 100 for Team Zulu, and 50 for Team Zeke. This type of event has room to swell those numbers however.

and when will registration begin?? And when does the COs begin to pick their command staff???????

COs are quite likely hand picking their crews as you read this.
Registration should be starting quite soon.

Teams have been renamed to avoid some confusion in frame 1. In the subsequent frames, it will be easier to remember who is who.
Zeke, Bait, and Coffinstuffers, as I recall. :t

Team Zeke will be under my control for the first two frames, there will be no deviation from my orders. or Jordi's on the final two frames.

well then the pearl isn't for you, cause if you fly the pearl you will obey the CO's order's, mine or jordi's

Lighten up a lil doobs, I was just playin'. I had thought we had another CO for team zeke, but I presume that things have changed since then.

Hubs, early on we had discussed the BKs taking point on the Team Zeke, but I've heard the squad has changed so much that I wasn't sure what has happened to the group.
Team Alpha and Zulu are led by Jordi and Doobs. Team Zeke is a 3rd Squad that Won't side switch, to keep the numbers in favor of the IJN. That group will have it's own CO, to keep the team itself on it's toes, but it will be under the charge of and work strategy out with the IJN CO it's flying for.

It was a reference to another thread from long ago. Sorry that you didn't see the humor. Besides, if BKs are no longer Team Zeke, you probably won't have to worry about me anyway.

Todd, psst, notice the part where Team Zeke isn't filled yet? We are Just Now getting to the Leadership Position, been working on maps and rules and stuff.
That's why I posted about Team Zeke, see who was still interested. Arena changes, Squads changing, People leaving etc, I got alot to keep track of.
Goes both ways, You didn't PM Me either ;)
So nuff of that, what's the plan.

We are just asking in our Finnish forum willingly Finnish players to fly in the Team Zeke. I know that many of us are very intrested from that role in this scenario. We know some numbers (you say 50) on next week, my quess is that 30 - 40 Finns are in!
