A special setup targeted for the Finns. Finnish Virtual Pilots Association (http://www.virtualpilots.fi/en/) will be demonstrating AHII-fights in the auditorium at the Finnish Aviation Museum (http://www.suomenilmailumuseo.fi/en/index.html)'s annual "Aviation Hobby Days". So it will be Summer 1944 at the Karelian Isthmus, Soviet Union have started their campaign [Stalin's Fourth] against Finland.
Virtuaalilentäjät - Virtual Pilots ry, association of Finnish WW2 online simulator pilots, will participate again in the Finnish Aviation Museum's Aviation Hobby Days (Ilmailuharrastepäivät) -exhibition. The exhibition gathers annually several thousand people interested about aviation to the museum, from small shops bringing their catalogue for sale to aviators and families.
A note about the times: The exhibition starts on Saturday at 9am CET, we'll be giving the people a chance to try the game, at 11:30 am CET we'll be organizing some coordinated fights/flights. That's 5:30am EST so it's a bit early for the Americans. But I'd hope to see at least some European squads / players in there at the time. :)

Greetings Panzzer,
I would be very happy to join this event, although Saturday is not a very good day for me. Is the event extended to Sunday or is it a one day event?
Also, could you give me the time schedule in Greenwich Medium Time, please? I've lost may events due to this time fuse thing...
If I manage to be present, I will fly for the "other side" so I'll be the joy of many pilots...
If I don't, I wish all a very good day and an excellent experience in AH2.
Salute,
Sparrow

Hello Sparrow,
yes it's a two-day event, there's AH2 scheduled at 11 am CET on Sunday. I think that's 10 am GMT, but we're moving from Daylight Saving Time to Normal (Winter) Time on Sat/Sun night, so I'm not certain about the GM time...
And I'll be there at the museum for Saturday only so I don't know if anyone will have AH2 there on Sunday... But I hope so!
Thank you & salute!

Here's the battle plan for Saturday: A56 - A72, furballs, bomber runs, whatever people think of.

So, Saturday you will be online by 11:30 am CET wich is GMT +1 but, because we are in Summer, is exactly our time. Sunday, end of Summer, CET 11 am, 10 am here in Portugal...
Of course, the museum only works during the day, will be closed in the evening...stupid me...I will not make it, most probably. I'm really sorry. Let's see what happens, but cannot make a commitment here.
I'll be online Sunday evening, for sure. But I'll miss all the fun...
Have fun!

Oh, sorry Eagler, I didn't notice your post earlier. It would have been 5:30 am.
I'd like to thank everyone who were in the arena today, we had some good fights. There were about 40 people watching the big IL-2 mission we did, had it on the auditorium screen with audio, and a second projector was showing the Finnish side activity. :) I think over a hundred people watched some of the action today, with 10 - 20 staying longer and asking questions about the game. Thank you, !

Very Cool!
