I just bought a SB Audigy SE.  

It's crap as far as I can tell. The audio is fine, much better, but the vox is no good.

I have the 20db boost on and mic slider all the way up in windows and in game.
People can hear me but the quality is very poor.

Is there anything i can do about the "hissing"?

Got it worked out.

I just put the old card back in with the new one. Went to control panel and dedicated the new one for input and the old one for output.
