Title: Hard lockup when trying to get in Online

I just upgraded to 1.003 (full download) now I can't get in online at all. everything is fine offline. When I hit the ok button on the login screen my puter locks up hard ( reset button to fix it) I figured I'de need a new account so I tried that (Same thing) So I try to get an account (same thing)  ;-(

Any Ideas?

How long are you waiting?  If there are network problems or you are behind a firewall, it can take a minute or two before AH switches to TCP or gives up trying.  Don't be too hasty on the reset button.

Failing that, check out this article (http://users.andara.com/~sconrad/system.htm) I put together on optimizing your system for Aces High and other games.  Since it seems to work offline just fine, I suspect a connection issue.  Are you behind a firewall or using NAT to connect to the Internet?

I got it
Took an uninstall/reinstall but got in last night.

I would wait for about 3 min . I knew it was more then network lag because mouse would freeze, Ctr/Alt/Delete had no effect. just locked up cold.

All is fine now ;-)
