Title: Mic key assigned to joystick
Post by: Yeager on July 14, 2000, 02:13:00 PM
No matter what I do I cant get the mic key to work with my PrecisionPro.

I have mic press assigned to the "end" key under AH setup keybpoard.

I have the mic press ("end") assigned to button 8 under AH setup joystick

I have the "end" key as my transmit key in RW.

Nothing happens.  It dont work.

I have tried all this with the default "t" key for mic press as well and still "no-go"

Although I can still just press the damned key and transmit, I cant do it using my joystick!

Why?

Just for grins Yeager, did you try to map it to another button just to see if the results were the same?

You have done what I would have done and other than a malfunctioning button I don't really know what to tell you. I am not familiar with the stick.

I assume it uses a program running in the background that allows you to set the buttons on it or is it hooked up inline with your keyboard?
